Forums lagging?
I notice that sometimes this happens to me but maybe others too, I'm not sure.
Bare with me, I stink at explaning things but I try my hardest
Okay, so the lagging goes like this.
When I click on a thread, it doesn't load the post that I recently posted. Sometimes for example if there are like 3 posts on the thread + the original posters post, and when I click on the thread all I see is the original post and sometimes 2 of the 3 posts. Maybe the site doesn't load fast enough or something?
Also, I notice that the site breaks down sometimes or something like that. I just don't know why.

Yeah this happens to everyone, i spoke to Naga about it a while back though.
I just set up my Opera browser to clear the cache for zomgforums each time i close down my web browser and it fixes the problem 70% of the time.

Host says:
we use central cache system for mysql, which takes sometime to update the database queries.
Host says:
Its called Query Cache for mysql
Host says:
its to secure the system and faster the mysql queries

This happen because the host uses eaccelerator a php cacher software to cache the php pages. This type of software allow the forums and blogs to load faster, mitigate auto ddos attacks, faster mysql queries and overall reducing the load on the server. One basic disadvantage of this type of cacher is, it waits for a dynamic reply till the end of the last page. As a result, in some cases you may face its taking time to update the thread pages or forum pages. Basically, its actually better for the sites as it lets the site to take minimum load and take minimum time to be loaded on the browser. One major difference between these type of server wide cacher and other forum cacher is, These are dynamic cacher. Cause you wont be facing the lagging time too long depends on the shm size host uses. On the other hand, this lagging time is quite heavy for general forum cacher.
One easiest way to solve / reduce the time of lagging is by going to Browser (IE) >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Click on the settings under "Temporary Internet Files" >> Select the 1st option says "Every visit to the page". This would reduce the lagging time alot. Also note, it wont happen in lots of browser. IE will create the most hazard for you

Agreed! Firefox and opera shouldn't have any problem at all. As IE asks for cache on the server first time (Unlike firefox) , thats why it looks like forum is lagging sometimes
