ni hao!

my name is andrew and i am currently 22 years old, turning 23 this october. I love anime and its kind of a funny story about how i was i introduced it. i was in college in the music department bored off my ass waiting for rehersals to start and this guy that smelled awful all the time was laughing in a chair across the room at his laptop. so naturally i get curious, take a deep breath and hold it for fear of having to smell the "oh god this freshman hasnt figured out what deodorant is" smell. I walked over and peered across the screen and he was watching mahormatic which is now one of my favorite animes and i ended up watching the rest of that episode "yeah i had to let out my breath and deal with the smell eventually" and got a crash course on what "echhi" meant. anyways my favorite animes are a long list but top 3 would be full metal panic, rosario+vampire, and probably mohoromatic since its what got me into anime overall.

i dont watch tv. at all...besides the olympics but i tend to watch recap vids online anyhow. also, i am trying to go to japan for a bit this fall hopefully around christmas time since i just found out the US has an awesome visa policy with japan and i dont have to worry about tons of paperwork. consequently im on an anime binge, trying to pickup common words and such and learn some basic japanese before i go...not too good with other languages. what do i do? well kind of in transit atm, didnt do so hot in college the first time around so trying to save money, take classes so the poor college kid routine, been kickin around the idea of the military but i think bush is damn retard and would rather wait until mccain is in office but /shrug what can you do eh?

on another note, im just now getting into manga, im more of a novelist guy, i love reading a 1500+ page book in one sitting, just getting wrapped up in the story and not moving until im finished so the whole short volume+pictures thing has been interesting but i have to thank rosario+vampire for that one. and thats about it. if you want more info im on facebook, send me a pm or such, i dont believe in myspace, bleh

WHOA that was long, awsome. i have a few interesting storys myself but unrealted to anime

welcome to the forums, but why im i saying that? i joined today

im 15 and in school, got no idea what to do in life abit like you, its now my last year in high school in ENGLAND :O but yeah think im not gonna do well, im also wondering about colledge and all that. I got into anime randomly more of the echhi stuff (yeah i type quick and dont spell but w.e) it was awhile ago now, but really i just randomly came across a show called .. I forget..how helpful...i began watching naruto on TV and realised how much it dragged on and left it there for some years, i then found bleach when searching for new naruto episodes i had heard to be good, i then moved onto To Love RU recently which im awaiting new episodes, all this has inspired me to start drawing and its going quite well. well my friends think it looks just like the shows style of drawing does (without colour) so i guess its manga. ANYWAY yeah thats my little story, i found To love RU on zomganime.com and spoke to lots of people on the chatango thing, made some friends, the site when down and here i am ^^
