June SotM Competition Rework

Since we didn't have a strong turn out for the month of May i thought maybe the original topic was too serious, even though it was suggested by you guys. I'm going to try this another way, in a more lighthearted and fun manner and less of a serious story entry. I want you guys to have fun with this and not see it as another english assignment so get creative, and get original. I tried to mix up the theme a little bit so people would have some variety while still having a good base on which to vote and judge.

OK so the theme for the month of June is Ninjas or Pirates. The Rules are as follows:

1. Each Short story must be under 1000 words
2. Be strongly connected to the theme
3. Handed in before the 1st of the up coming month

Why dutch and english privateers?, The caribean had ablot of pirates as well did asia. As for the ninjas why not assassins, the place in time has alot of space to vary from and it'll make it a bit less like naruto.

This is an awesome theme expect mine with in the week. Oh and btw you said pirates or ninjas so does that meen u can miss on out and say only have ninjas?

With the end of the month rolling around and nobody as of yet being ecstatic about there pirates and or ninjas story, Is this competition on the verge of being dead before it ever begun?

So I am asking is there nobody here who is capable of writing a short story? Somebody write something. And post if you get done.
