(This is from 2004, but still....)
I picked it up the first volume just today. To those who don't know about it:

robot is a compilation of 20 artists who drew up some small snips of their own comics that they're making. robot is arranged by Renji "Range" Murata and published by DMP, (Stopped publishing after the 3rd volume) and Udon Entertainment.

Dude... the art in this book is freakin ridiculous.... I was attracted to it when I saw the cover art and inside it gets even better.... Has anyone heard of this before? Currently robot has reached 10 volumes and more artists are being added still... It's crazy.... Not really sure if they'll go past volume 4 or not....

I guess because it just looked good.... I mean I dunno it looked like it was drawn really well that's all it kind of just made me think of what would be inside....
