And amusingly enough, one of my specs in the previous thread was quoted almost verbatim.

Makes that spec a little more likely to be the route they're taking with this.

And the patricide and matricide by Itachi was under orders by Madara, as opposed to his father being the ringleader. Least that's my suspicion, it would be the only way to explain the slaying of their mother, who from everything we've seen wasn't involved in anything funny and simply doted on both her sons.

He's just trying to "recruit" Sasuke to the Dark Side, well even more Dark than the side he was already on, anyway. Best way to hide a lie is by hiding it within the truth

well that does seem resonable, but i dont think that will happen because they would have to go back and retell the story, which would make thing really boring.

But that's essentially what they're doing now as well.. I mean how often have we seen the Woe is me, my brother killed my family and now I must slay him to avenge them spiel by Sasuke.

Sure, we're getting some new tidbits of additional info, but that would also apply to the spec I outlined. Plus, it would allow for the stretching out of the storyline, meaning more ka-ching.

And it would also help lessen the amount of fillers they'd have to make for the anime, when they can do multiple episodes on, what really happened to Sasuke's Clan.

but i agree with wat satsu said, they are streching it out for more $$, and it's number 400, so they could have given a little more in this chapter as a celebration, which would have been nice

eh more like he will be glad that he left the village... This will lead sasuke to joining madara in attemp to destroy konoha which means eh... lol i basically agree with everything satsu said. but all in all good episode
