Hmmm.. So Madara has been Mizukage, and there were some very bloody wars between Konoha and Kirigakure iirc.. Wonder how many of them he caused. He's also probably the one who set up the graduation test for that village. Considering the whole steal the eyes of your brother thing, that he'd already had going, this would be right up his alley.

This guy is even more devious and cold-hearted than Orochimaru was in my estimation and everything he says should be taken with plenty of skepticism.
Also find it curious, that Tsunade seems so unaffected by Jiraiya's passing, especially considering she'd finally decided to hook up with him once he returned. Would've expected some puffy eyes or something.
Also odd that Yamato isn't present, considering that Naruto is liable to become seriously enraged, it might've been prudent to have him there to help calm him down.
Wonder if that old toad is going to prove to be useful with regards to training Naruto. He's simply too limited with his techniques right now, makes him far too predictable.
