Air gear is not bad, I'm not really on 'gang fights mangas' but It's an original story=) I love the air moves drawings.

If you read the recent release it reveals what the teams got to do in order to enter the tournament so it can be entitled to being called a filler but I think its just to prolong the ending of the manga.
