Do you usually buy manga or read it online?

I feel that whenever i read it online, it doesn't give me the same thrill as when reading in a book, since there's always popups and ads on the online manga sites.

if you have firefox and have the add-ons there wouldn't be annoying pop-ups.
i usually read them online, cuz as my mother puts it, manga is a "waste of money"
i only buy those that i can't find online.
yeah but reading it in the book format is much nicer, i don't know how to put it.

we don't have many dutch mangas over here
i can buy english ones but they have to come from overseas ..
so i only bought 3 manga series (deathnote, ruruouni kenshin & dn angel)
the others i've read online

I do prefer to read manga in a book format, but almost always I end up reading online. But it seems I get more out of the book format than online.

I use to buy them but there expensive. I probably bought over 10 manga books...but I read it online now

I just never have the extra money for manga so I just read online. Very rarely when i do have the money I'll buy some, but so far that has been twice.

well i read them online for the fact that it's hard to find the new manga where i live i don't want to spend the money on stuff i've already read online.

I only own around 50 graphic novels... I don't read manga that much, and when I do I prefer a book as well...

i read manga online i never really read a book and i wouldnt want to buy a book cuz once i read it im not gonna read it again and i dont want to throw it away so i dont bother

Well when you put it on a shelf it doesn't look like that much

and yes I must admit, they generally are not cheap (usually between 8 and 16 USD)

But a lot of them I bought many years ago... over that time span its not as much...
