hoping it'll not actually be a dissapoint as I think live action element bending could be pulled off. (seems more like dancers would be suitable for the role rather than martial artists...just me though)

The cartoon was awesome. But I don't think the move will live up too it. It will still be really good just I belive it will be more target audience oriented then the cartoon, which although it was target audience oriented managed to have a great universal appeal.

The cartoon used actuate martial arts forms for all bending moves so a mixture of both martial arts training and coriagraphy will be needed for the people in the show.

The balance of story and action is going to be key. To much focus on action and it won't feel like avatar the last airbender, not belivable or cool enough action and the whole story concept falls apart.

This is the same film that lost the battle with AVATAR over the rights to the title.
