Why do you watch Naruto Shippuuden?
Well, I for one only continue watching it because when I start something I want to finish it. But lately it's getting ridiculious now with the way it turned all into DBZ shit where it takes 5 episodes for 1 battle and yeah... The story is ridiculous IMO... CMON Sasuke betrayed his village and ran off to the bad guy and Naruto is trying to bring him back? What's up with that?
Sasuke is the bad guy and the series is still treating him as though he was a good guy it's so lame.
I could rant off about this all day but I want to hear your opinions.

Eh, since i've read a bit further into the manga, i have to say that i really enjoy both the story, and the artwork that goes into the series

Re: Why do you watch Naruto Shippuuden?
Okay i agree with you on how there turning Naruto into DBZ with the battles and everything.
But i disagree with you on the thing you said about Sasuke.
Sure Sasuke betrayed Konoha and Naruto's friendship your seeing it from the point of view of everyone else but Sasuke's.
Lets take look at Sasuke's side of things. So when you were a little kid you came home and realized your very own brother, your own blood and flesh had killed off not just your family, but everyone you knew and cared for (your whole clan), you ask him why he says he had too. What kind of answer is that? And then your brother decides not to kill you so you suffer big time because you don't have a family to take care of you. Even worse Itachi used his sharingan to replay the scenes over and over again to the point where you are mentally and physically on the verge of suicide.
You then set yourself the task of becoming stronger than your brother and your only purpose in life is too kill your brother for what he did. But then as you train harder and harder and harder and you also have the gift of the Sharingan you still get beaten to a pulp buy a dropout ninja who is nothing whitout his nine tailed fox and then later getting beaten by your brother when he returns and then getting taunted by him, and then yet once again having to have Naruto to save the day.
Seriously after all that has happened to me i would seriously do whatever possible to get stronger and kill that prick Itachi, even if it meant running to Orochimaru and getting power from him, wouldnt you or would you just sit back in Konoha and sulk the rest of your life because of what your brother did instead of taking action.
Naruto wants Sasuke back not because he is gay, but because Naruto understands to a point what Sasuke has gone through and most notably, Sasuke was Naruto's first friend. Still Naruto doesnt 100% understand that Sasuke went on his free will for one purpose to kill Itachi, i think if Naruto understood that, he will leave Sasuke alone and let it be.
And yeah i could type more but i think you get the point.

Ah yes your right, i like Sasuke very much in the fact that he is actually doing something about it instead of sulking like Sakura did in the original series. I also wrote that because im sick of people saying that "Oh Sasuke is emo and he is gay he left Konoha" and all that crap (no offence to Naga of course). Yeah i use to watch DBZ, but then i stopped watching after a whole episode was Goku screaming in pain trying to get to Super Saiyan 2 or 3 whatever it was haha.

Thats actually a good thing. The transforming that takes 5 episodes is not. I like to see long battles, it means there is a lot of detail put in to them. Such as the Goku vs Freeza in DBZ. Awesome battle, though the Freeze saga was drawn out TOO long.
The reason I watch Naruto is mainly because of my favorite characters like Kakashi and Itachi, they bring a lot to the show, making you want to keep watching. Plus there has been a lot of great battles in the show..such as....
Lee vs Gaara, Neji vs Naruto, the Jounin vs Itachi/Kisame, Naruto vs Sasuke on the rooftop, Naruto vs Sasuke in the Valley of Whatever Its Called( lol ), Sakura/Chiyo vs Sasori and Kakashi/Naruto vs Deidara
Shippuden has taken a bad turn, though, I thought it'd go for the better when it started the Sakura/Chiyo vs Sasori and Kakashi/Naruto vs Deidara battles happened, as they where well done, though the flash backs kind of killed the suspence at times.
Shippuden really needs to get it going, putting in better battles and etc, leaving out those damn flash backs, and let the characters fight. It looks like it'll finally be Orochimaru vs 4 Tails which looks like it'll be good from the preview.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Re: Why do you watch Naruto Shippuuden?
@ enigma, Sasuke is doing exactly as itachi is doing. Both betrayed their village to get stronger. Sasuke is the villain imo and I don't get why everyone in the series wants to get him back like Tsunade for example... She has no feelings for him yet she still gives them missions regarding sasuke, it makes no sense.
Naruto makes no sense... It's lame how he always gets mad when everyone else is cool like in this episode.... He just explodes and gos all power-up like when everyone else is calm and he always shouts all the time and it's just not normal-behavior...

I dont see Sasuke as the villian, as i said above I would do anything to kill prick Itachi aswell, but anyways i would rather Sasuke go be the villian then sit in Konoha sulking, like Sakura did in the whole 220 episodes of Naruto .
The thing is about Tsunade, is that she is somewhat attached to Naruto, she did give him that necklace that seemed to be very important, she did kiss naruto on the forehead, and Naruto has saved her life once and got injured by her on many occasions and done many other things to help out, i guess she is just returning the favor as Hokage and trying to help Naruto find Sasuke.
Remember in the arc with Zabuza and Haku? Well in that arc Kakashi and a lot of other characters said that Naruto was the "Number 1 most hyper-active, loud, noisy and number one at surprising people ninja" or something along those lines. I guess he is just living up to his name. Plus he is the main character, he has to be something other than normal, otherwise it just wouldnt be naruto, if he was boring and stay calmed it just would be shit, Kishi wanted him this way and im glad they haven't changed Naruto at all.

Re: Why do you watch Naruto Shippuuden?
One of the things I like about Naruto Shippuuden is that they did not change the way Naruto acts. Meanwhile they did make Sakura less shy and more direct and she now has some use in a battle. Before she was just some useless person that would beat Naruto to a pulp when he said something bad about Sasuke.
I also like how Team 7, which included Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, has now become similar to the three lengendary ninjas(I can not remember the exact title). Naruto is Jirraya, Sakura is Tsunada and Sasuke is Orochimaru.
The fact that it is turning into DBZ was going to happen anyway. It seems that most anime now are becoming more and more like DBZ. Wasn't DBZ one of the most watched and highest ranked anime ahow once? I know it isn't anymore because they are no longer making any new ones.
Sorry got off topic. The whole Akatski(can not remember it correctly) thing is getting boring. They have fought four members and only killed one, and he wanted to die. Deidara has a super long lifespan for some unknown reason, and it didn't even explain if Gaara still has his sand manipulation jutsu back.

Yep, i think i remember that. But i would imagine he doesn't have as much control over it as he did before when he had the Jinchuriki inside of him.
