Default Naruto X Naruto Shippuden

I have to be honest, the original Naruto really didn't attract me as much as Shippuden. Sure, I saw an episode now and then, but I didn't feel the same about a new episode coming out as is with Shippuden. What do you guys think?

Actually I was initially attracted to the original Naruto, because it was the continuation of anime watching that I left off for a couple of years. It could be considered my "official" intro to anime. However, now that I think of it, Shippuden IS much more exciting and deeper than the original Naruto, however, the original needed to be that way to develop its characters, the plot development was originally what hooked me to anime. Though, now that I reflect on it, I watch seinen much more than shojo genre now, after Fate/Stay Night, Black Lagoon, Trinity Blood, etc. I think that seinen or for older people anime present really some very intriguing concepts, case in point Chobits.

Indeed, IMO I feel the Original is a little more fast paced, action filled. While Ship. is more enhanced on the story being told in words and sentimental actions than in simple physical actions. Not trying to offend anyone lol, but I feel Naruto Ship. was aimed at a higher audience. Just my view.

I'm sorry to say that I have a different opinion. I actually thought that the normal Naruto before the shippidden got me to watch it more then the shippiden itself. I really don't like shippiden that much that is why I haven't touched shippiden in like 5 months. I am planning to catch up but I am not too excited.

Ah,

Well depends on what you like I guess. I like Naruto, too, but not as much as Ship. I feel more in flow with the characters there, probably cause they are older lol.

Seeing all the characters changing is very difficult for me to comprehend because I really don't like change. I see they got more powerful and learned new techniques etc... but I really think that before the Shippiden it was very interesting and it lured me in right away. I still like Naruto and stuff but I don't watch the Shippiden also maybe because it seems like the story is going to end. I really don't like good stories to end.

The original Naruto was really cool, and then the fillers happened....

Anyways i myself prefer the Shippuuden because its fast paced, they are more mature and just generally stronger plus they are actaully somewhat follwing a story line now aswell.

I felt in the old Naruto nothing really much meant anything, they just go out on mission after mission and thats all it felt like for me in the original naruto, but in shippuuden it seems they are following a storyline now and not just pointlessly running around in missions.

I dont know its hard to explain but i hope you understand me. But in the end i do prefer Shippuuden. I have a feeling the manga is coing to an end also.

Yea,

Not trying to bash Naruto on this one lol, but it did get kinda filled with mission after mission, while like Enigma said, on Ship the story flows a little faster. Both Animes are great, and I also think Shippuden is the last of Naruto T_T.

Naruto Shippuuden was my main attraction to the series.

I looked at shippuuden, but was told i had to watch the entire series previous to be able to understand it. So i did, i watched all 220 episodes and got on to shippuuden
