Deleted series

Some of these are going to be hard to come by, especially because they keep getting deleted.

I'm currently creating back-ups of some of the series we've got running on megavideo.
Macross Frontier is fully done. Working on Blassreiter now.

I've seen some DMC stuff, and I'll do the same with that material, be advised though, this is going to take a bit. The downloads are fairly speedy, the uploads are not.

I'm going to try and keep it one to one, add a new page from Veoh and then create a backup page at megavideo. But this will slow us down with regards to adding both new and older series though.

wait confused. so u are creating 2 pages for ever ep added. 1 will be www. zomg.../megavideo-streams... and the other will be www.zomg.../veoh-streams...?
or do u mean u are uploading series onto megavideo ?

Both.. Uploading series onto megavideo, and then creating two pages (one veoh, the other megavideo) for every episode added.

Even with the newer series, I've had to replace the episodes a couple of times already, because they were deleted from veoh. To ensure that folks do have something to watch, I'm doing the whole upload it to megavideo thing.

Now, if only the uploads would go quicker, then we'd be getting somewhere.

I've roughly downloaded 19 episodes in the time in the same amount of time as it takes me to upload one to megavideo. *grumbles*

Eh, I'm used to being thorough. In my line of work it's a necessity. Create enough contingencies, so that if someone mucks up, then at least my department can't be blamed, because we did more than our share to keep things on the straight and narrow.

Besides, just look at One Piece and how it keeps getting nuked. Having a back-up somewhere else means folks can watch that. Gives us a little more room and time to maneuver in.

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like having to do this (rather dislike unnecessary extra work), but it's the most efficient way to keep all the material accessible in one way or another (making it just extra work and that I can stomach, even if it's annoying).

(Kanokon is almost done, uploading episode 1 now, other two episodes have been cross-linked already. Blassreiter 3 is still converting.

Still trying to find episodes 3 and 4 of DMC, have the rest downloaded and awaiting further processing.)

Anyway, DMC is back up, including episodes 3 and 4, which I finally managed to track down. Am still going to back those up at Megavideo, considering how often that series seems to be deleted. Better to waste some time, than to be caught with your pants around your ankles.

Blue Submarine is also fixed, although episode 4 can currently only be watched if you have veoh tv installed (because of the length of the episode). Will definitely have to upload that episode to megavideo.
