Suggestions on Dark Anime

Hello everyone. I'm new here so don't chop my head off and feed my flesh to fluffy demons if you don't like this or it's in the wrong section or you think it's stupid. Just correct me and leave it that. Geez.

Ok, so I've watched some pretty dark and demented anime, but now I don't have anything to watch... *sniff*
So, I'm just asking if you know of any really good, somewhat dark anime that you think can't be contained inside your own head.

Oh, and as for my own suggestion, Gankutsuou is a super super super awesome anime. It's dark and demented and has angst and plays mind games. Who could want anything more? Seriously?

School Days, Deathnote, effen lied...
Black Lagoon is dark but not so much of the mind games (some insane stuff in the second season). I can't think of anymore at the moment but I'll let you know if I come up with another one.

Its more on the demented side, also not on the mind game side either. But school days hands down is one of the most demented things I have ever seen. Deathnote though seems to cover your needs the best.

ELFEN LIED!!! OMG I FRIKIN LOOOOOVE THAT ANIME!!! Sure, Lucy's psycho, but it was great and she was my favorite.

To Shadow: Uhm...yeah. It's pretty intense. Blood splatter, decapitation, angst. It's awesome. The only thing I really didn't like was the animal abuse. I wanted to bash everyone's skull in....

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Has multiple seasons; pretty fucked up)
Jigoku Shoujo (and it's second season. Not really angsty or even that violent, but it's a beautiful anime. Enma Ai = <3<3<3<3)
Blood+ (if you haven't)
Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate

More on the drama side, but you may also like Shingetsutan Tsukihime or Kure-nai

Also, though I haven't personally seen these, you may wanna give them a shot. (I might, also.. xD):

Boogiepop Phantom
Paranoia Agent (synopsis on this one sounds retarded, but I've heard it's somewhat decent.. *shrug*)
