"The Fleugal Team, led by Naomi Fleugal. Her team mate for the battle is her younger sister, not to mention my ex-girlfriend, Sara Fleugal. Naomi uses a modified Gun Sniper, but Sara uses a Shield Liger. Getting through the shield shouldn't be too hard, considering X has an Ion Cannon mounted on her belly, capable of disintegrating a shield with one shot. Then again, Naomi's got a bad habit of running off to a high location for sniping. And she's got great accuracy. However, if you like, I can mount a 10 mm Rail Gun on your Red Blade Liger. It uses magnets to fire bullets at extremely high velocities. Hitting the target isnt much of a problem, since the gun uses an auto lock system. If it hits, it pierces the armor and damages the Zoid's nerves. When that happens, anyone who isn't smart enough to realize they're screwed will be in for a rude awakening. The damage it does to the nerves causes the computer to freeze. However, the gun only has enough ammo capacity for 3 bullets. So you gotta be very careful with the auto lock."

Artemis stood and stretched as well, yawning lightly and twisting his neck a bit to give it a light crack. "Anyway, I'd better get down to the hangar. X could really use a ride right now."

"So the Fluegal team huh? Boy is Naomi going to enjoy seeing me again. My Moms brother Leon Torros used to be on her team. In fact if I remember mom telling me right Leon used to pilot the Red Blade Liger until he gave it to me as a gift. My coming of age and his retirement from zoid battling. Hey by the way you mind if my Blade Liger and I join you and X for that walk you were talking about? Its about time for his anyway." They head back to the hanger and something catches sasukes eye. "Hey who are you what are you doing here?"

Artemis blinked and noticed the intruder. "The hell?"

X was roaring and rearing back, pissed that someone had dared entered her little "lion's den".

Uhh...Hi...I was just wondering who was the leader of this ship? I seen some messages around the town few miles from here that there was a new Team assembling so I thought I would tryout and join. Oh, and some of my hobbies are making weapons if you don't have a person like that I can make a great addition but I keep the best for myself so just come to me if ya' need anything.

X's roaring slowed until she had calmed down. As for Artemis, he tilted his head. "Hmm..."

"Sure, you're welcome to join at any time." Mina had heard the conversation and was walking to the three men. She smiled lightly.

Artemis cracked his neck a bit. "Wah?! Mother, are you nuts?! This guy might just be here to steal stuff!"

"Everyone deserves a chance before things are just assumed about them, dear." She smiled and pat his head.

Ehh...Err...I swear I didn't take anything...I just came in here to look for the leader.
Sabertooth approached Mina and started cuddling around her. See it should all work out fine.

Mina smiled. She pat the Zoid's adorable gold head and looked at Artemis, who sighed. "I guess you can stay. I'll get ya a room set up."

Claps of thunder and bursts of harsh, blue-white lightning grew in intensity outside. The Shadow Fox approached a small section of the forest, with a large, jagged hill in the middle of the clearing.

As the Shadow Fox fully entered the clearing, it suddenly growled in agitation. The pilot didn't seem terribly shaken. "What is it?"

A zing of a missed shot told him what. Looking up, the Zoid and pilot both spotted a single Gun Sniper atop the hill. The Zoid would have been difficult to spot, with it's dark blue and black color scheme, had a burst of lightning not illuminated it so perfectly.

"You know, I wasn't really looking for a fight, but I just couldn't resist." The voice of the Zoid's pilot, female, crackled over the radio.

"I don't generally participate in unsanctioned Zoid matches."

"Tsk. What's the matter? Afraid you'll lose?" The other pilot was either an amateur who felt her position on the hill gave her the advantage, or it was just another jock pilot, confident in her abilities.

"Fine. Just know, I'll fight how I will. I aim to misbehave if you're going to challenge me."

A second shot, this time catching a tree next to the Shadow Fox, gave her answer. "Set battle mode. Deploy smoke screen." The Shadow Fox gave a roar before crouching down, smoke pouring from slots in it's legs and body. "Activate 3D Radar systems. Follow her position. The moment she realizes she's lost us, she'll bolt."

A crouch and leap, and the Shadow Fox was running along the edges of the trees, moving to circle around the enemy Zoid. A growl from his Zoid told the pilot something was up. "Activate Optical Camouflage."

The Shadow Fox stopped for a moment before it shimmered and faded away. The forest was quiet for a moment before a Saber Tiger Zoid came lumbering into view.

As the Zoid passed between two trees, the heavy beam cannon on the Shadow Fox's back lit up for a brief second before slamming into the side of the Zoid. So close to the cannon, the shot actually picked the Zoid off the ground for a few meters before it crashed back to the ground.

A snarl alerted the pilot before a Rev Raptor down off a section of the hill, claws bared and ready to kill. "Dodge." The pilot commanded, as he threw forward the speed actuator. The Shadow Fox leapt to one side, but not before a brush with the front claws sent alarms going off.

"Beam Cannon's going to need some repairs... Missile Barrage." The panels on the front shoulders of the Shadow Fox slid apart, revealing the missile systems. Ten missiles from each flew out and slammed into the Raptor, knocking it from the match.

"Who the hell are you?" The female pilot screamed over the com as she started firing blindly at the Shadow Fox.

"My name..." The Shadow Fox sped up the hill, jumping from boulder to boulder. "is..." The Fox-type Zoid jumped into the air, claws bared and glowing.

"Is Alex."

Suddenly, there was an explosion. The Dark Judge squeaked and looked to its left. A Light Judge stood fully. "This battle has been taken over by the Zoid Battle Commission and has been cancelled. Pull back your Zoids at once, or they shall be confiscated and you will be arrested. Unless someone joins this match on the Shadow Fox's side, you have thirty seconds to leave the ar-"

"I'll join." Came the call from Artemis, who loaded up his information and stood quietly at the bottom of the hill.

The Judge deliberated. "Battle Mode approved. Area scanned. The Zion Team vs the Triple Alliance. Battlefield set up. Battle Mode 0982. Readyyyy...Fight!"

Artemis' Liger X roared and charged up the hill with incredible speed, zooming past the Shadow Fox and leaping upward, tackling the Gun Sniper to the ground and tearing it apart like it was a rag doll.

"Hey dont forget me and my Blade Liger. Judge I am sending my registration as a new member of the Zion Team." The Judge scanned the data. "Deliberating, Deliberating.

"Very well, Sasuke Torros is here by recognized by the Zoid Battle commision as a member of the Zion team." "Right lets do it Liger." Blade Liger roared to life and followed in behind Leons Liger X and spread its blades. "Hey Leon just tell me where you want me and I'm there."

X halted her rampage and sat back on her rear, her tail waving through the air. Artemis' face pulled up on Sasuke's screen. "There's another Gun Sniper and some Hell Cats around 50 yards to our right. Take the Sniper down and I'll take care of the Cats." X stood again, roared, and dashed off into the trees after the cloaked Hell Cats.
