"Roger that. You heard him Liger lets do this." The red blade liger takes off after the gunsniper and gets ready for combat. The other gunsniper sees Sasuke and starts aiming in his direction. "Sorry but cant let you take me out of the game just yet." The pilot pulls the trigger and the bullet flies through the trees the blade liger was using for cover and just narrowly missed Sasuke. "Looks like its time to pull out the shield." Sasuke flips a switch and a shield envelops the blade liger to protect it. "Rats if I could use my Charged Particle Beam canon this would be over with all ready but theres no way that'll happen because I cant sit still or she'll take me out." "So I'll just have to get in close. Alright Liger hit the after burners buddy." Sasuke and the Blade Liger take off at faster speeds than before and charge the gunsniper. As they get closer the blades and claws begin to glow. "Lets see should I go with Strike Laser Claw or Strike Laser Blade. Hmm, descisions, descisions. Got it. Strike Laser Blade it is then." Just as the Blade Liger gets close enough it jumps into the air coming down hard on the gunsniper. "STRIKE LASER BLADE." In an instant the gunsnipers somputer is frozen from the damage. "Leon Gunsnipers taken care of. Your clear to do your thing."

Artemis nodded. "Roger that!" The Liger X's own claws also began to glow as it fired its Vulcan, turning the Hell Cats into mincemeat while the Strike Laser Claw tore through the last Hell Cat.

The Judge waved his arms. "The battle is over! The battle is over! The winner is...the Zion Team!"

Artemis sat back against his seat, sighing softly. "Wow...So now what do we do..."

Shinji thought for a minute. "How bout we see if the pilot of that Shadow Fox wants to join the team and make it official."

"Good idea." Liger turned around and made her way back to the Shadow Fox.

Alex sat in the seat, observing the sudden arrival of the Zion team. They were quick, but some of them seemed a little less seasoned that he had expected.

"What do you think, Shadow? Think they can cut it without us?" The Zoid growled several times in response. "Ok, ok, ok. I get it."

As the Liger approached, Alex opened a visual link to the pilot, his face still hidden behind his helmet. "Unidentified member of the Zion team, state your intentions."

Artemis appeared on Alex's screen as well. "This is Artemis Leon of the Zion Team. I couldn't help but fight with you. It was 1 against...well, more than one...If it's alright with you, you can stay at our home for the night. Your Shadow Fox looks like it could use a cleaning anyway. I can see the dirt all over it."

Alex frown behind his helmet. Tapping the mute button on his console, Alex started talking to his Zoid. "Think they can be trusted?" The Zoid growled in approval. Alex nodded, tapped the button again. "We'd be glad to take you up on your off, Artemis. I'm Alexander Williams."

Artemis' head nodded lightly. "Meet us at the base you were spying on a few minutes ago. I'll have Oka-san fix up some soup or something. Just don't ask for miso...on anything. I'm serious. Unless you have a death wish, don't ask Mother to put miso in anything she makes." Liger X walked away, satisfied with the nice fight and the chance to have a new playmate, her tail swishing through the air as she let out a contented purr.

Sasuke mused for a moment. "Well today sure turned out eventfull. Well lets get back to the base Liger." Blade Liger roared in agreement and followed suit of Liger X.

Mina blinked and noticed the male pilot before her as he was sat down at the table by Sasuke and Artemis. "Oh? So this is our new team member, huh? Well, you're welcome to stay as long as you like...But touch my cooking stuff, or my toy Zoids, and I'll kill you."

"Wow, Leon your mom is scary when she wants to be."

Everyone sat there at the table a little bit freaked out by the sudden mood swing.

Artemis snickered. "She's like that sometimes."

Mina smiled and et out some soup for Alex.

((Can't type much. Arms are sore and I'm holding a puppy.))

Sasuke sat for a moment and then turned to Leon again. "So whats the battle mode for tomorrows match with the Flugal team?"

Alex took the soup with a polite nod of his head and quietly ate his soup, not making even a hint of a slurping noise as he did so. After a few spoonfuls, Alex set the bowl down. "This is really good."

Resuming his eating, Alex turned his attention back to the conversation between Artemis and Sasuke over their fight tomorrow.
