Misuzu couldn't cry. She just stared at the doctor blankly. Her mind went blank as well and she felt frozen. It was as if she was in a really bad nightmare.

The doctor moved aside, as well as his team of assistants and nurses, and they all bowed their heads.

Uchiha and Hyuuga were also silent, as they and the Fourth walked into the room, looking at the corpse of Seifer. All in unison, the three men whispered, just barely enough for them all to hear "Seifer....Ayasum-nasaii."
{Good night; Sleep well.}

4 days later, the funeral began, the Fourth and Seifer's old team mates leading the procession. In the Fourth's hands was clenched his pupil's forehead protector, black as night. In Uchiha's, the picture of the three of them with their Team Leader a few years back. In Hyuuga's, a bouquet of the Fire Country's finest roses, hand picked from every garden in every town.

Suzumiya was sitting in his little wooden house outside the village. He did not attend the funeral. He thought about what happened... About Seifer's death... It happened again... One of his friends died. Suzumiya was blaming himself again. Just like when Kenta died...

"Oh, Seifer-san... I will not forget you."

After the funeral, the Fourth chose to stay. A strange smile was on his face as he sat, eating lunch by the grave. "Poor boy..."

After the funeral Misuzu sat in a field of flowers somewhere outside of the village hidden in the forest. It was her hidden spot where she liked to think. "I'll miss you, Seifer-kun"

There was a sudden wind. The leaves picked up and, as the passed Misuzu's vision, there stood Seifer, looking at her quietly with his hands folded against each other as he stared at her....But the stare was empty, this apparition had gaping holes for eyes.

Misuzu started backing away. "S-Seifer-kun?" she asked hesitantly. She was afraid. I mean, he was supposed to be dead and buried right? "This is not normal" she muttered to herself still staring at him.

"I'm not dead. I can't die too easily, in truth...My body just shut down. I only needed a little time to come back....But right now....I am trapped in that box....I've always been claustrophobic." The apparition disappeared, and the real Seifer's screams began from deep within the earth where he lay. The Fourth was already digging.

Misuzu stood still for a moment. She couldn't tell if that was real, or if it was her mind playing tricks on her. Decding it was real, she wasted no time in getting to the cemetery to help the Hokage did him out.

Seifer's coffin was lifted and, as they lifted it out, he broke through, punching the Fourth right in his lower jaw, breaking it easily. The Fourth fell back with twirly eyes as a few medical ninja healed him. Seifer looked around and curled up tightly into himself, crying.

If this weren't a serious situation, Misuzu would have been laughing hysterically at the Hokage.
"Seifer-kun..." she said softly putting a hand on his shoulder.

Seifer turned to her and sniffled, grabbing her and planting his face deep into her left breast, nuzzling up and listening to the sound of her heart-beat, shivering as he looked upward to her, his normally dark eyes becoming a deep, flowing crimson. "I was so scared, mommy...Please don't let me go down there again!" He clung tighter.

Misuzu stiffened. Mommy?
Thinking quickly, Misuzu patted his lightly. "It's ok, everything's alright now" she said soothingly. When Seifer looked away she made faced the Hokage and mouthed the word 'Help!'

The Fourth sat up, wrapping his arms lightly around the boy, who shrunk further into himself when touched. The Hokage put his coat around Seifer and held the both of them tightly. "Shhh....Don't be afraid...I'm here, child..."

Seifer slowly released Misuzu and clung to the Fourth, who lifted the him up. Seifer had fallen asleep. The Hokage nodded to the others, who left, and he carried the boy to his home, laying him down on the cot he kept especially for him, next to he and his wife's bed. As the Fourth's wife and Seifer slept, he himself lay awake and staired up at the ceiling, thinking. "It will be time, soon..."

((Ok, in the first episodes of Naruto...Naruto is about 13 or so....So subtract 13 from 25....))

{12 years later}

Three dark shapes moved through the trees. One tapped his mic and held the button down. "I'm in position." He whispered as he knelt back against the tree and waited for the team's prey, a group of skilled shinobi who were rather weak and tired due to being chased through 3 countries back to the Fire country. In particular, Konoha territory.

The shinobi man, who would turn 31 in a few days, looked back to the others. "Misuzu...Itachi...Are you ready?"

Uchiha Itachi, still only a Chuunin, swiftly and silently crawled through the grass. He lay in wait at the bottom of a tree a few yards ahead of his sempai. "Hai...I'm also in position."
