Misuzu stared at the spot where the Kyuubi once stood and released her jutsu. She looked towards the Hokage and noticed that she couldn't find him. "What just happened?" she muttered to herself.

"There was mourning, of course, when they all had realized what happened. The Third was reinstated as Hokage, and it was rumored that a demon child was born, a child who carried, sealed within himself, the demon fox!

This boy would become a legend throughout the lands as he traveled far and wide in many adventures...This boy was Uzumaki Naruto. Our tales would not continue if it weren't for such a young lad...

Now, everyone. Tell this story to your children, and your children's children. For they shall be the ones who live on after we are gone. We sealed the beast. We fought it. We sealed it again...And now, it is up to Uzumaki Naruto and his companions to fight in our stead."

Seifer, an old man nearing death of old age, closes the book quietly and smiles upon the young children of Konoha's academy. He looks upon one and smiles, noticing the traits his own child has been born with that reflect Seifer. A strong, confident look, and a gentle, caring attitude all at once. The blind old man stands up from his chair that Iruka-sensei gave to him, pats his son on the shoulder, and walks out the door on a simple cane carved out of pure marble, so it has a distinct "click" sound as he walks.

Seifer smiles as he walks through his village. The village he helped save. The village of Konoha, home of the greatest shinobi minds the world has ever known.

~The End~

A dark shadow looms just beyond the village, not smiling, his serpentine eyes staring quietly at the village and its inhabitants.

~The legend has only just begun~
