Kodai looked at Seifer. "Ehh, I can't help it," he grinned. " I was having a good dream." The chef gently laid the bowl of ramen in front of him, and then he grabbed for a pair of chopsticks from the holder next to him before slapping his hands together. "Ittadakimasu!" He said, and then he started to eat it slowly, enjoying the delicious food.

"So, how did your mission go?" He asked after he paused for a drink.

Seifer shrugged lightly, quietly eating his ramen after a little prayer. "Well, it was an odd one. The lord of a little town a few miles south of here decided he wanted someone to assassinate his wife and children. Turns out, his wife was the one who ordered the assassination of him. Her husband was cheating on her, raping their children, and destroying private property of citizens. That's three laws that lord broke...Just enough to warrant for an assassination. So I got ordered out, along with Hyuuga-sempai and Uchiha-san, since they needed eye-technique users."

He sighed and set his chopsticks down. "I hate it when we have to go on assassination missions. Uchiha-san got a broken ankle and Hyuuga-sempai's Byakugan was ineffective against the enemy..."

He narrowed his eyes. "That is strange..." Kodai thought out loud. "Maybe I should've been ordered to join in on that mission." He smiled and worked some more on eating his ramen. "You know that I don't have an eye technique, but I can have stare that could stop a bull cold in its tracks." He chuckled to himself. "At least, that's what some of the kids here have mentioned to each other about me."

He paused...not wanting to get off topic too much like he usually does. "Why was Hyuuga-sempai's Byakugan ineffective...?" He asked. "And Uchiha-san being injured with a broken ankle, huh? I'm sure he's mad..."

"Oh, he's furious!" He laughed. "And Sempai's not feeling to mad at himself, but he is a little upset."

"Anyway, how was your mission a few days ago? I haven't seen you around since then." He began gulping down the ramen broth, shivering at the exquisite taste it had.

"It went fairly well," Kodai replied after a long pause of thinking about it or taking a break from eating. His cheery voice seemed different a little though to those who knew him well to notice; like he didn't want to remember. No one, other than the higher-ups, knew about the mission report. "Myself and my team got home safely, and that's all that matters to me." He smiled.

Seifer nodded quietly. "I see...Hope everything went well." He sneezed lightly, then set the bowl down, humming to himself. "Ok....Let's see..." He took out a chedule from a pocket. "Hmm....Training with Hyuuga-sempai and Uchiha-san....A little stuff here and there...Oh, yeah, I forgot, Uchiha-san wanted me to look after his little one. This should be fun."
