'Duo' "Huh i suppose thats from the voices you possess?" he got up off the chair and offered out his hand "My name is Jake it's a pleasure to meet you and sorry about before but this was my home i tend to get careless when stuff like this happens".

Mat leaned against a large rubble pile, puffing away at his cigarette. "Don't mind me, just passing through." Pulling the butt of the cigarette, Mat flicked it into the air before jabbing at it with two fingers, a dart of fire shooting from his finger tips and engulfing what was left of the cigarette.

"Pantheon, I'll assume that's bad. If I had to take two swings at it, I'd say a Pantheon is a group of Masters, or someone between a Master and Atlas?"

'Duo' merely nodded at Jake. He then turned to Mat. "Close, but no cigar. A Pantheon is a beast of Atlas. It is able to breathe flame like a dragon, but the worst part about this beast is that it can think for itself. Its only loyalty is to Atlas. Only he can command them. I've heard rumors of them...That they are the product of a human being having prolonged exposure to an attached Corruption Gate. The prolonged exposure transforms the human into a shapeless, nearly mindless monster with only one thought: to serve Atlas' every whim."

"Ai ya, wo mun wan leh!" Mat muttered under his breath. "I think I would have preferred a group of Masters sworn to Atlas." Mat ran a hand through his head, continuing to mutter various curses in Chinese. After a moment, Mat pulled out a small metal container and took a shot before shuddering, spinning the top back on. "So what now?"

"Well i say we leave this village and hunt down this beast and make it pay that should send a nice clear message to our good friend Atlas" he said in a sarcastic tone he stopped to consider other options "Or we could simply look for others like ourselfs and then take out the cause of this all i think i saw another person around her before he was tailing you Duo".

"Um... sorry to intrude, said Loki, "But does anyone know where you can get food? I'm starving. And whats a Pantheon?"

Duo sighed. "I'll explain Pantheons later. For now, just know that trying to take out a Pantheon is like attempting to make the sun melt into non-existence. We'd have better luck trying to kill an Obelisk."

Mat spat on the ground. "Ai ya... What the hell is an Obelisk? Something else Atlas decided to fuck with?"

Jake sighed "well at any rate we can't stay here who knows what could happen Atlas just might decide to send some more to make sure everything was destroyed" the thought of more then one Pantheon in one place send shivers down his spine he got up off the chair and pointed out over the hills "There is a village that lies just beyond those hills it is rather secure from what i've seen and apperently they have Atlas protection we could go get some food from there and plan our next move".

((*snickers* You said Atlas protection, it made me think of witness protection. lol.))

Duo sighed lightly and also stood. "I'd rather not be around humans...As for Obelisks, they are Masters who willingly joined Atlas. As reward for their loyal cooperation in helping him gain power, he used his telepathic powers to speed up their evolution and turn them into blue-skinned demons. They're often found riding on the backs of Pantheons...If you're lucky to find them on their own, run."

Jake nodded he had faced one of the Obelisks before and barely got away alive thank god for the trees not even his stealth attack worked the thing just deflected it with ease "Yea i agree with Duo don't try to fight them by yourself the only outcome would be death" he paused as he considered how naive and lucky he was back then it was a mistake that he would not make again.

"So..." Mat kicked a charred skull into the air, the smoldering object disintegrating in the air, "What the hell have we accomplished with this whole chit-chat. Are we doing something? Are we going after anyone? Will I get to torch someone? It seems to me that all we got accomplished was sitting down on our asses and talking about the shit Atlas is pulling. What. Are. We. Going. To. DO!?!"

Loki grinned and pulled up a seat. "Well, we gotta start somewhere, so lets elect a group leader. Next we go somewhere to live and eat for a while. Then we think about other things."

Duo, annoyed with Mat's racket, twitched but made no other movement. "Let's get going. The village doesn't seem to be too far off." He stood, stretched, then checked his hands, gripping them lightly. "Alright...Time to go." He walked towards the village, feeling a strange presence coming from that direction.

Jake nodded "I believe the best person to lead the four of us would be Duo he seems to have two people inside of him so it would only make sense that he should lead because he has the power of two minds", He walked in front of Duo and knelt before him "Duo i swear my alligence too you until you no longer need me or i am dead and i nominate you to be the leader of our group my powers are yours" with that he lower his head to the ground waiting a response.
