"Fine with me, the less the better. Propping his feet up, Loki needed something to calm him down.

Looking at his 8 foot zweihanders seemed perfect.

"Night Jake."

"Night SARA!"

Mat was right. It wouldn't, and didn't hold at all. Duo back against the wall, the full out charged the door, slamming it and its barricade against the wall. "If you ever spy on Sara like that again..." He drew up his puppeteer strings. "I will kill you before you can even blink, pathetic worms...." he walked away, out of the tavern and across the street to the other tavern. He needed his own room, or his secret would be known.

That night, as he lay in the bed, his puppeteer powers let go and he slipped from Sara's soul, becoming two bodies. He took the form of a child, clinging softly to Sara in his sleep.

Jake freaked when he saw the hole and Loki with his Zweihanders "Oh man i'm outta here see you all later people" with that he sunk down into the shadows and then re-appeared outside on the street 'i think i need a walk tonight', He began walking out of the village and towards a hill just outside town when he reached the hill he found his tree and then layed under it looking up at the night sky 'Beautiful' he thought to himself.

Jake remembered his days at his old village he had started to become settled and was beginning to trust other people but as soon as he did it would happen the bullage would be destroyed or the ones he got close too would die and he was always powerless to stop it "Dam you Atlas it won't be long now until i get my hands on you".

Loki thought he didn't have any particular grudge against Atlas, except for his cursed destructive power. That he would never forget and embrace.

Jake climbed up ontop of the tree to his favorite branch and sunk into it with only his head showing the fell asleep dreaming that one day this Tyrany of Atlas would eventually come to an end and the world could once again have a time of happiness and freedom.

Mat grinned and followed Duo from the shadows of rooftops. He didn't hate the man by a long shot, he certainly didn't trust him, and he had a small measure of respect and curiosity for him. He couldn't help but follow the man, not so much to spy and plot against him, but to measure him and watch over him.

It was a very peculiar feeling, for Mat to want to watch over someone, especially one who would just as soon eat him as thank him. Still, Mat followed Duo to his new inn. One glorious thing that Mat thanked being a Master for was his ability to track a person by their heat, and Duo was one of the largest blimps in the area.

'Maybe it has something to do with the two souls in one body deal.' Mat thought to himself as he sat perched on the ledge overhanging Duo's room. He wouldn't have been surprised if Duo knew he was there, but he would take his chances.

After a long period of time staring up at the sky, Mat jumped up and did a double take of the room. Earlier, when Duo had laid down, there was one distinctly bright spot. Now, there were two very distinct blimps, and one of them was quite small.

'What the hell...' Mat decided it was worth the risk and jumped down onto the balcony and peered in from the window. There was Sara... and a child lay with her. 'She wasn't pregnant four hours ago... and that child is a little too bright for a new born.'

Mat stared for another moment before leaping back up to the rooftop and sat there, smoking and thinking. 'Masters are weird but... What the hell are you, Duo?"

Sara sat beside him. "He's a strange one, alright... And yes, we know you followed us..." She gave a gentle smile and held Duo close to her. Duo looked at Mat quietly with black eyes...All black except for the iris, which was crimson.

Mat grinned, chuckling. "So are you psychic now?" Mat gazed down at Duo with a smile still on his face, unfazed at the boy's eyes. "He seems different from the rest of us Masters. I know we all have our stories, but what's his, if you don't mind me asking." Mat turned back to Sara with a curious glance.

Sara's smile faded away. "He murdered the five of the only six people who only cared about him...as soon as he was born, his strings tore them to pieces. Afterward, he cornered me and possessed my body. Our souls were so synchronized that they fused together. But, as you can see...His mind couldn't take it. He developed physical, as well as emotional changes as a defense against all beings, such as lighting reflexes, the unhinging jaws, and shutting off all emotion save one. Love. And he only loves me and himself...But I think meeting you people may have changed his fate...When we sleep as one, out bodies separate because our souls are shutting themselves off from one another. It's hard to explain."

She smiled down at Duo, who slowly began to shift forms. "The only way to attach our souls again is for him to enter and possess my body." Duo's eyes turned a gentle blue, and he stood as he grew to match Sara's size. The two held their hands to one another, and their bodies melted together, like yellow and red making orange...

Soon, Duo sat beside Mat, his eyes transfixed on the roof. "...I know not what to say or do at a time like this."

Mat nodded thoughtfully, staring up at the sky. "Sometimes, words only get in the way and mess up a situation. There are times... words aren't needed." Mat laid back on the roof and sighed, closing his eyes. "Sometimes, silence says it all."

Duo merely nodded, staring at the starred sky. "True...Oh too true..." He sighed and reached into his sleeve, pulling from it a green ocarina, and began to play a tune on it. With the music playing, Sara's soul was detatched again, and she began to dance in her own body while wear a long, flowing white dress, her bare feet lightly tapping the tiles of the roof.
