ISHIKAWA TOYOSHIMA BLEACH STORY.

Chapter 1 The Sending

Ishikawa awoke to another sunny day in his house, he let out a slight yawn and pulled himself out of bed and rubbed his eyes, At first it was all blurry but his eyes slowly began to adjust to the overflowing light in his room, He picked out some shorts and shirts, He was going to his mates house who lived near the beach.

He walked to the bathroom and jumped into a shower for a quick wash, "i wonder what the waves are like today" He let out a slight sigh as he got out a few minutes later "that was too short for my liking", He got dressed and headed downstairs into the kitchen to make himself breakfast, as usual he was the last one awake and his family had gone shopping without him again, although he didn’t mind he would appreciate an offer to go with them every now and then.

After having breakfast he grabbed his clothes and surfboard and began walking down to his mate’s house, He passed his old school and waved to some of his friends but without stopping or slowing, He was anxious to get into the water and just forget about his lifestyle and problems.

Ishikawa's lifestyle isn't what you would call glamorous he was forced to quit school and get a full-time job so that he could help support his family and put food on the table while his mother's wages paid for the bills and a roof over there heads, In his family he was the oldest with two younger brothers Jake 12 and Sam 3 he also has a younger sister Sarah 2, His mother Ami 34 had two jobs before Ishikawa quit school and she would often not eat so that they would have food, This changed 3 years ago when she met Neal and had Sam and Sarah they have been together ever since but Neal and Ami are currently unemployed so this is why Ishikawa has had to start work and give up school.

Jake has a different father to the others but they still keep in contact, his father is basically part of the family Ami And Jason stayed close after they broke up, The two have been good friends ever since and now Jason has a family of his own as well as Jake.

Ishikawa Toyoshima is like any high school student has dreams, friends, hobbies and interests, He works to support his family and to help his mother when he can, He only just turned 16 last month. He has dark brown hair but when in the light it looks light brown, maybe because he uses so much gel to slick it back and spike his fringe up but he doesn’t seem to notice and if he does he thinks nothing of it.

He has deep dark brown eyes that are quite peaceful and relaxing but upset him or make him mad and they turn as black as the night, He has a stare that could send shivers down any person regardless of there size. He has an athletic body because he does alot of sports on the weekend when he's not working and likes to keep himself fit.

His father left when he was just a young boy and hit his mother and called Ishikawa a mistake he wasn't heard from again, Ishikawa only learnt this 2 years ago and he made a promise to himself that he wouldn't be like his father and that he would be a kind generous person.

He finally shrugged off the past and reliased he was standing outside his friends house, He wandered in and was greeted by his friends mother she made a quick gesture towards the beach the continued to watch the television. With a slight bow he headed out through the back door of the house and headed towards the beach, There he could see his friend already in the water and his sister and her friend minding his stuff, He quickly dropped his stuff next to the girls and gave a quick compliment before running off into the water. He saw to where his mate was waiting for him "hey" his mate said "so what’s the waves like today" Ishikawa asked "You'll see" he responded with a massive grin across his face.

It was a good day for surfing and Ishikawa was very good at it some even suggested that he go pro, They were halfway through the day when Ishikawa decided to surf the 'Gap' the Gap was an extremely rocky area where the break can be unpredictable, But even so Ishikawa had surfed it many times before but there was something different this time and an uneasiness began to grow within him and he was thinking about the past instead of focusing on what he was doing, He decided to go for it anyway and just began his run.

It was going extremely well until a sudden break of a semi-submerged rock altered his angle and threw him into a rock and off his board, Then the waves hit his board and with his leg still attached to the board he got thrown around into the rocks, As they cut him badly he suddenly opened his eyes to see a huge rock and he got thrown into it everything when dark......

He awoke a second later to find himself in the street his friend lived in he shook off the vision he just had and thought nothing of it and decided that he must still be tired and was still thinking to hardly which would explain the pain in his head, As he was walking he noticed a sharp pain in his chest and a constant clicking sound he rubbed his chest only to find a circular metal plate in the middle of his chest with a chain attached to it.

He decided to run to he's friends house as he got there he saw the family in tears so he started talking to his friend but it was like he wasn't able to hear him or see him.
Ishikawa started to freak out and yell at the family but to no avail as they were getting in the car he quickly jumped into the car, The ride was a quiet one with no-one saying anything to each other as they pulled up he reliased that they had parked out front the cemetery, He followed the family through the cemetery until he saw a crowd of people surrounding a grave ceremony, He pushed his way through the crowd and saw his mother in the front row "MUM! MUM!" he screamed but still nothing.

He turned around to see who they were mourning and there he saw it in big bold letters on the coffin ISHIKAWA TOYOSHIMA with a picture of him which was taken last year for school photo's, He was dumbfounded at this and started to freak out at this sight his legs turned to jelly and he collapsed to the ground, He only just reliased what it all meant and why they couldn’t see him or hear him he was dead it wasn't a vision or a bad dream he really did die.

He stayed and listened to what everyone had to say about him and what they thought some said he was a kind caring person others said he was a reliable person and good friend but they all said that no matter what happened they could always go to him for help and that he was always there for them when they needed him the most, This bought a tear to his eye and others started to burst out in tears the priest stood up and came to the front cleared his throat and began to speak, It was over 3 months ago that Ishikawa was taken from us and escorted away but we all still carry a small part of him with us at all times.

3 months Ishikawa thought had he really been dead for 3 months.... Then it hit him "3 MONTHS!?!?!?" he yelled in disbelief it had only been a matter of mere minutes and 3 months had passed by, He decided to follow his family home when they arrived he went into his room to find that it looked exactly the way he left it 3 months ago apart from all the dust everything was still where he left it, The family had gone back to the way it was before with Neal only just getting a job as a Cinema Manager and his mother working two jobs again.

He left the house and went to he's favorite secret spot which was down the road from his house, It was the roof of an abandoned house with a small sun deck on top of it. He would always come here to look at the stars and forget about things or if he had something on his mind he could come here and think about it or to calm down, Then suddenly from nowhere a howling scream was released. This howl shook Ishikawa to his very soul and sent shivers down his spine.

He looked around to see where the sound had come from it sounded close and it was unlike anything he had ever heard before as he searched desperately for the source of the noise a voice came from the darkness "Well hello there LUNCH your soul looks delicious" frozen with fear Ishikawa could only move his head around to see who had said it. There he saw a huge gorilla like creature with what looked like a Halloween mask on it's face he slowly overcame his fear and turned to face this thing.

'What do you want and who or what are you?" Ishikawa demanded trying to keep himself from shaking, The thing simply responded in a grunt and said "YOUR SOUL" then let out a bone chilling laugh Ishikawa decided it was time to run and run fast he jumped from the roof and began to run through the streets away from the huge monster, It was incredibly fast and easily caught up to him within seconds Ishikawa decided if this thing wanted his soul he was going to at least put up a fight and not let it go without a fight.

A strange feeling began to overcome Ishikawa as if he was full of power and energy and he charged the monster he jumped into the air and launched his foot into the monsters chest it suddenly got sent flying down the street, It let out a scream of pain and surprise "I don't know what type of soul you are but I’m going to make you pay for that" he charged Ishikawa who tried to avoid the attack but was to slow and found himself in the grasp of the beast, Then a man dressed in black clothing appeared from nowhere and took the things arm off with ease.

The man in black clothing had what seemed to be a sword that you could buy in the shops but it was razor sharp and there was a strange feeling about it, The man charged and ran his sword through the beast then turned to Ishikawa and hit him on the head with the end of his hilt a weird insignia appeared on Ishikawa's head and as he slowly sunk into the ground he heard the man say "relax your going to be fine your going to the soul society".

Chapter 2 Soul Society

He opened his eyes to find himself laying down in a field outside a small town in an area he had never seen before, He took a moment to examine his surroundings and see where he was, Where he was standing was on some green fields the grass here was greener then what he had ever seen before and the flowers were amazing there was even a black rose but the town at the end of the hill was something like an old western town it was full of dirt.

He decided to head into the town that was at the end of the plains he was standing on as he approached the village he saw a familiar site the man in the black robes and a sword at his waist, He approached the man with caution and then tapped him on the back the man turned around only to reveal that it wasn’t the same person that saved him last night but a different man a younger one the last night. He decided to ask the young man where he was and what this place was.

The man gave a smile and with a cocky tone said "you know you really should introduce yourself before you start asking questions to a person you just met" Ishikawa's face went bright red when he was reminded about his manners, "Sorry about that my name is Ishikawa Toyoshima it's a pleasure to meet you", The young man nodded and made a follow me gesture and began to walk off without a sound.

Ishikawa began to follow the man until he mustered up the courage to walk by his side and say "I didn't seem to get your name" the young man laugh and responded "well that might be because i didn't give it to you" he let out a laugh and then there was a moments pause and he turned back to Ishikawa "My name is Yoshitake Toshimori it's nice to meet you Ishikawa Toyoshima" with a slight bow he made another follow gesture and continued to walk in silence. Ishikawa sized the young man up and down and then reliased he wasn’t as old as what he thought he first was.

Actually looking at Yoshitake properly he seemed to be around 17 only a year older then himself and he had the same color hair the same color eyes and even the same body type but instead of having it slicked back with a slight spike, He's was all spiked up into the air and looked like it had to be drowned in multiple containers of wax and gel just for it to be able to hold that shape and form, The memories of last night started rushing back into his brain and that’s when he let it slip "What was the big thing that attacked me last night it was like a big gorilla with a Halloween mask?"

Yoshitake stopped for a second then turned around and answered "It was....." with a slight couple of second pause he continued "It was KING KONG IN HALLOWEEN DRESS!" Ishikawa's mouth just dropped and hit the ground, Yoshitake couldn't hold the laughter back anymore he collapsed to the ground and just kept laughing at the expression on Ishikawa's face, Ishikawa picked his mouth up from the ground and walked over to Yoshitake with his fist raised high he let out a mighty right hook to the back of Yoshitake's head which made him go face first into the dirt this time it was Ishikawa's turn to laugh.

Yoshitake turned around and spat out a mouth full of dirt and the two started arguing with each other about why Yoshitake turned a serious question into a joke and then why Ishikawa punched him in the back of the head, they eventually stopped and Ishikawa asked him again this time Yoshitake's face turned serious and he said i'll tell you when we are in a bit more secluded place he gave a quick look around and then began to run out of the town back the way Ishikawa had just come in from, Ishikawa stood still for about 8 seconds before reliasing that he had just been left behind so he began running after Yoshitake and yelling abuse at him for running off like that.

Yoshitake stopped at a tree when suddenly Ishikawa jumped on top of him and started to pull his arm back into the sky asking him why he ran off like that, Yoshitake looked up then gave a Ishikawa a smile, He vanished a split second later he was behind Ishikawa with his sword at Ishikawa's throat "h h h h how? How did you do that? Did you bring me out here to kill me?" Yoshitake's smile had vanished and he had a serious face now he leant over to Ishikawa and whispered "how? it's simple and i haven't brought you out here to die so if you pay attention i’ll teach you how i did it but if you don’t do as i say i might change my mind and kill you where you stand"

Ishikawa had only ever felt this scared once before and that was when he had encountered that gorilla thing he decided that if he didn't do as Yoshitake asked he could die here again, "alright then i'll do as you say but only if you tell me what that Gorilla thing was and how to defend myself against it" he looked up at Yoshitake to see a massive grin across his face "you had me worried for a moment then Ishikawa i didnt think you were going to agree and let me train you" he helped Ishikawa to his feet then lead him to the top of a hill and pointed into the distance Ishikawa was wondering what was so special about that it had to be pointed out then he saw what was over the hill.....

It was like something he had never seen before it had an entire protective wall around it in a circle and in it was multiple buildings some small some big but right in the middle of it was the biggest building Ishikawa had ever seen and next to it was a hill which made no sense to Ishikawa "A hill in a enclosed town?" he asked Yoshitake, Yoshitake just walked forward and said "That my friend is called Seireitei it's where all Shinigami live i am a Shinigami and that thing you saw the gorilla is called a hollow, We Shinigami are separated into 13 Divisions know as the Gotei 13 they each have there own unique tasks but we all share 2 and they are to kill the hollows and return them back into human souls and clense the soul of the hollow and return it back into it's human form and to guide fallen spirits into the Soul Society".

"The Gotei 13 do there jobs to the best of there abilities the squad roles are as followed the 1st Division are Command, 2nd Division are Special Forces/Assassination, 3rd Division Intelligence and Information, 4th Division Medical Assistance and Supply, 5th Division Kidou Corps / Kidou Tactics and Control, 6th Division Internal Affairs, 7th Division Seireitei-Rukongai Diplomacy, 8th Division Reserves and Back Up, 9th Division Counter Intelligence, 10th Division Large-Scale Operations, 11th Division Offensive Tactics, 12th Division Research and Development, 13th Division Defensive Tactics and Seireitei Protection".

"All of the Division’s have a captain and a vice captain the captain of squad 1 is know as the commander-general and is in charge of all the captains where as his vice captain is in charge of all the vice captains. I Yoshitake Toshimori am in the 13th Division, 7th seat there are 20 in total and they start at 3rd then go down to 20th the captain and vice captain automatically have the 1st and 2nd seat. The reason why i brought you here is so that i can train you and you can eventually join the Academy and then maybe serve with me it usually takes about 12 years or so to pass the academy but after that maybe you can join our squad and serve with me or under me cause i'm so awesome and great".

A week had past after Yoshitake had explained everything to Ishikawa but he still hadn't gotten used to all the changes and sudden information he had been told, Yoshitake had been putting Ishikawa through intense training in order to bring out his reiatsu which apparently according to Yoshitake was Ishikawa's personal power source and if he could bring out his reiatsu then he could do what Yoshitake did, Ishikawa was sitting down next to a tree when Yoshitake appeared next to him with a flask of what seemed to be water "Here have some it will help you regain your energy and strength" he said with s slight grin spreading across his face it was a grin that Ishikawa didn't like to see but he didn't mind it cause he was about to die from dehydration.

Ishikawa brought the flask to his mouth and took several mouthfuls from the flask then handed it back to his friend "Thanks for that i really needed...." Ishikawa suddenly stopped talking and felt a weird tingling feeling creeping up the back of his throat, Yoshitake tried to cover his laugh but couldn't hold it in anymore and then he finally let it out along with several tears and through his fits of laughter and getting air he said " Hahaha Ishikawa that wasn't water it was Sake i hope you enjoyed it", Ishikawa's face began to go bright red and his throat started to burn while his vision went blurry "YOSHITAKE YOU MONSTER WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?" he fumbled around on the ground trying to find the source of all the laughter when he finally got hold of the young mans uniform.

Yoshitake’s face went from happy laughter to instant fear and dread as he reliased that Ishikawa had caught him he turned to face Ishikawa and brace himself for his punishment only to find Ishikawa fast asleep behind him he let out a slight sigh as he picked up his friend and laid him down under a tree in the shade and decided to let him sleep for 4 hours before waking him "4 Hours should be long enough for me to have a talk with my captain and see if he has any work for me sleep well Ishikawa for when you wake up you will awaken your reiatsu or die", He smiled as he Shunpo'd back to Seireitei.

Chapter 3 Seireitei

Yoshitake arrived in Seireitei in no time on his way to his captain Ukitake he ran into a person he hadn't seen around in a while, Her name was Yukino Asahina she looked about 14 she was rather small for her age, She has silky gray hair that hangs loosely below her waist with deep blue midnight eyes her bangs hang right over her blue eyes along with a single lock of hair that's slanted on here right side which is tied by a white clip, although she has gray hair traces of white can be seen and her young face doesn't mean that having gray hair means your old she has a blue ribbon which holds up her long ponytail.

"Yukino wait up it's me Yoshitake" he waved to Yukino as she turned around to see him running towards her she let out a slight smile then waved back to him "Hello Yoshitake how have you been?" he let out a slight laugh "Your always in a good mood but you don’t talk much do you?? I’m just fine how about you is all well?" he offered his hand out to her and as she took it he shook her arm up and down just to be annoying "Yes i have been fine but where have you been i haven't seen you around in like a week" she decided to avoid his first question and ask another, Yoshitake started to explain what he has been doing the past week with Ishikawa and then released after he finished he had an hour left so he said "Goodbye" and then ran off to his Captain to inform him of his recent activities.

Ishikawa awoke to find himself alone with a throbbing headache "Ow Yoshitake's going to get it when i get my hands on him" Ishikawa tried to push himself off the ground but with no luck he looked around and grabbed hold of the tree nearby to pick himself up, He looked around in an attempt to find where Yoshitake was but the young man was gone then all of a sudden the bushes nearby started to shake and move "Yoshitake?" he slowly advanced on the bushes and peeked into them but they were empty then all of a sudden "BOO!" Ishikawa leapt into the bushes to hear the familiar laugh of Yoshitake.

"You bastard Yoshitake your a dead man" Ishikawa exclaimed as he jumped out of the bushes and charged Yoshitake "Your so predictable Ishikawa" and he vanished only to reveal a tree behind him which Ishikawa went face first into, "That hurt you bully" he began to rub his face which had gone bright red and his nose had began to bleed, He walked over to Yoshitake and wipped his nose and hands onto his clothes "So where did you go off to??" Yoshitake let out a slight smile then said explained to Ishikawa about his day and who he had run into after he had finished he said "and the best part is that Captain Ukitake said i could spend a whole month out here with you so that we can get you to apply into the academy".

Ishikawa's face lit up with joy as he heard the last part of it "So who is the Yukino girl do you like her or something?" he elbowed Yoshitake in the ribs harder then usual "Ow geez settle down Ishi and no i don’t like her were just friends she said she was going to come and see us tomorrow and check on our progress", Ishikawa felt happy for the first time since his death and he felt as if nothing could take that away from him, "Were going to the living world tomorrow Ishikawa to get some proper practice in controlling your reiatsu but for now back to training we still need to draw out the rest of your reiatsu".

The next morning the two had woken up early morning and Yoshitake escorted Ishikawa through Seireitei and to the Senkaimon gate "Whoa it's huge what is that thing Yoshi?" he looked up and down at the massive gate like structure when he heard a cough behind him he turned to see a tall slender man with white hair and white clothing, Yoshitake turned and apon relying who it was bowed "Captain Ukitake what are you doing here? I didn't expect to see you here" the slender man named Captain Ukitake let out a laugh "stop being so formal and get the job done today there have been even more Arrancar sightings lately in that area the local Shinigami's name is Saki Tanaka she's from Division 12 9th seat you are to meet her and tell her why you are there, Oh and one more thing here Ishikawa take this" he offers Ishikawa a black robe that looks similar to Yoshitake's "Thank you Captain Ukitake" Ishikawa bowed slightly but awkwardly and with that Ishikawa got changed and then the two walked through the Senkaimon gate.

Chapter 4 Karakura town

They arrived after walking through the portal in a town called Karakura and Yoshitake pointed over to an open field then to a tall building which seemed to have someone on it "Well train over there but first i need to go over there so you head on off over there and I’ll meet you there" with a slight wave Yoshitake disappeared leaving Ishikawa to himself, He began making his way to the grassy area Yoshi had pointed out to him "hmmm there's something weird about this town it feels as if there are tremendous amounts of people with powers similar to Yoshitake's and it's hard to breath and i feel heavier" He shook it off and continued on his way, Apon arrival he saw Yoshitake already waiting for him which means he must have already spoken with Saki.

"So why did you bring me here to the world of the living Yoshi?" Ishikawa had asked Yoshitake twice before but he hadn't got a response but this time he finally had "I brought you here so that you can get used to being dead in the world of the living i assume you already have felt several strong reiatsu they belong to other Shinigami and some certain humans that live within this town, I assume you are finding it harder to breath and that your body feels heavy?" Ishikawa nodded but not saying anything as it was getting harder to breath Yoshitake pointed to a hill in the distance that was similar to the area they were in now, Yoshitake picked up Ishikawa and within a blink of an eye they were at the hill Ishikawa felt sick from the sudden rush of speed and threw up over Yoshitake's feet.

"Ok now that we ha....." Yoshitake looked down only to see his feet submerged in what Ishikawa had thrown up a slight smirk reached his face as he threw Ishikawa across the hill and face first into the ground "sowry" Ishikawa said with a mouthful of grass he spat it out and got up he discovered that his body felt normal and he could breath easier now and that he couldn't feel there powers anymore but he felt uneasy for some reason it was the same as the day he had died but he ignored it deciding that he was just feeling sick from before, after shaking his feet clean of the mess he continued his sentence "Ok now that we have arrived here it should be easier on you and we can begin training without raising suspicion from nearby people.

The two began working on some simple Kidou spells that Yoshitake taught Ishikawa it felt harder to do it here as if he didn't have as much power then what he usually does and he was tiring alot quicker and easier then before noticing this Yoshitake asked if he would like a break "haha no thanks Yoshi I’m not THAT weak i can go a few more blasts" just as he finished saying this he collapsed to the ground from exhaustion "hmm maybe a break might be good" So the two stopped to have a break when all of a sudden there it was again the scream.

The two froze and looked at each other Yoshitake quickly got to his feet and drew his Zanpakto and looked straight ahead and then there it was a Hollow but it was unlike the one Ishikawa had seen when he was sent to the Soul Society this one was different it was like a wild dog but with the mask then all of a sudden there was more screams and as they looked around they discovered they were surrounded by the Hollows 5 of them in total all forming a circle and slowly advancing on Yoshitake and Ishikawa, Yoshitake took his stance "Ishikawa get down and hide" He yelled as he leapt at the one in front of him as he did so the other 4 charged at him.

Ishikawa could only sit there and do exactly what Yoshitake had asked him to do but watching Yoshitake fight was amazing he easily defeat 4 then cut down the 5 right in front of Ishikawa with a slight grin then a thumbs up everything seemed fine until "Not bad Shinigami but it's over for you" A woman appeared behind Yoshitake she has long lilac hair that went down to her knees she has very light brown eyes and a blue chocker with a star on it and she had no expression on her face, She has very pale skin with a dark blue pair of jeans and a black tight shirt with a skull on it and a midnight black fishnet shirt that goes down to her elbows she reminded Ishikawa of a skater when he was alive.

"My name is Kira Shichiyou i just thought you would like to know the name of the person how kills you" with that she drew her Zanpakto from her back and then ran it through Yoshitake's chest, Ishikawa was in shock how could this of happened especially to Yoshitake who was the only person he knew and was friends with and his life had just been taken from him right in front of him and he could do nothing but watch, Kira took her sword out of Yoshitake's chest and then began to walk towards Ishikawa "Run Ishikawa" Kira looked around "Hmmm your not dead yet? It doesn't matter i'll kill you when I’m done with him" She turned back to Ishikawa and vanished "Behind you" she whispered, He turned and threw a punch at her but she stopped it with one finger then kicked him into the nearby tree "Time to die Shinigami" she raised her hand above her head and brought it down towards Ishikawa.

Suddenly there was 3 Zanpakto's in front of Kira's they belong to 3 female Shinigami Yukino Asahina, Saki Tanaka and Rin Takeda, Saki Tanaka had waist length purple hair with blue tips with gray-blue eyes and a pale face with a slight blush to her cheeks, She has an hourglass figure wearing her normal Shinigami clothing, Rin Takeda has rather short hair stopping a couple of inches above her shoulders and has a chocolate-brown shade with Brown eyes with a Hazel tint to them she was wearing basic Shinigami clothing with a Turquoise charm necklace and a wintery, shawl/pelt thing that she has over her shoulders that has a pinkish tint to it. Ishikawa fainted from the tremendous amount of reiatsu the 4 were putting out.

The 3 Shinigami pushed Kira away from Ishikawa and Yoshitake then Saki and Yukino picked up the 2 men and all 3 Shinigami began to run away from the Arrancar Kira, With the two men wounded a fight with Kira could be dangerous with the two in there current conditions they arrived at a secluded area within the trees and dropped the two off then returned to face the Arrancar, They arrived to find Kira in the same spot waiting for them "I thought you would come back Shinigami but i didn't know you were desperate to die".

The 3 Shinigami drew there Zanpakto's and just as they were about to attack a massive reiatsu appeared and it was coming from behind Kira the 4 stopped and looked to see who it was, "His reiatsu is amazing it's almost as strong as a captains" They all wondered who could have such power and if they were friend or foe and then he appeared "Oh hello my name is Haita Masuku i seem to be lost i was looking for a certain person but they don’t seem to be here" he turned and looked at Kira sizing her up and down and then the 3 Shinigami he paused for a moment and continued "Maybe you should leave Arrancar that is if you wish to leave her alive".

Haita Masuku looked about 16 years old he had pale skin with dark brown hair with brown eyes and a scar under his left eye, He was wearing a light colored kimono like the one the Shinigami's wear it was a pair of loose white pants and shirt with a dark floral design that advances between them, his body structure looked lean and untrained and makes him look very weak, he has a bandage on his left arm under his sleeves which cover up a old wound with a sword that sits at his waste.

The Shinigami noticing Kira's distraction charged at her while her guard was down and just as they were about to land there swords Haita appeared in front of them and blocked all 3 with ease with his own sword and then pushed the 3 back away from Kira "Dont interfere Shinigami she's mine" He turned his sword around and then pushed it under his towards Kira, she quickly drew her own and deflected his sword with her own and then quickly jumped away she sized up her opponents and decided that a 4v1 battle wasn't what she was looking for today and besides she had already gotten a taste of Shinigami blood "Bye bye Shinigami I hope to see you again soon" and with that she vanished.

The Shinigami looked back to thank Haita for his help but he wasn't here anymore either they headed back to where they left the two Shinigami to find Yoshitake awake but barely clinging to life "Yukino take care of Ishi for me he has amazing potential enroll him in the academy I have taught him enough to get him started but just watch after him for me please haha it would seem that I’m not going to be able to and thank you" With that Yoshitake closed his eyes let out a sigh and then died, Yukino and Rin returned to Soul Society with Ishikawa and Yoshitake's body.

Ishikawa awoke 3 days later in the 4th Division’s barracks “Where am i?” he asked when he saw a young girl leaning over him casting a Kidou “Just relax you were badly injured during your encounter with the Arrancar and hollows you should try to relax” she smiled which often meant he was going to be fine it was nice to know that he was being taken care of ‘The Arrancar? And hollows? What happened?’ He thought hard on these when he remembered his and Yoshitake’s training then the sight of his friend with the sword. He jumped up and put some clothes on that were left for him “where are you going?” the nurse asked as he was getting dressed “Alright now I need you to be honest with me here nurse” He took a deep breath and prepared himself for the worse “What happened to Yoshitake Toshimori of the 13th Division 7th seat? What room is he in? And can I speak with him?”.

The Nurses head dropped and she looked around the room in an attempt to avoid Ishikawa’s gaze “Yoshitake took several sever wounds and injuries I’m sorry there was nothing we could do for him he died before you all even arrived back here the funeral is tomorrow if you’d like to go I’ll write you off and give you the address so you can go”, Ishikawa turned away from the nurse and looked down at the floor he eye’s began to fill with tears “oh I see and yes please I would like that can I please have my other set of clothes as well??” she nodded then left the room a few minutes past as Ishikawa came to terms with the fact that his best friend had just died it was really his best friend not even the people in his previous life shared the bond he and Yoshitake did it was like he was family “Curse you Kira I’m going to get stronger so that you can never take another one of my friends life again” the nurse walked in and handed Ishikawa the details of the funeral your free to leave tomorrow but today you have to stay here.

Chapter 5 Moving on

Ishikawa awoke the next day the day of Yoshitake’s funeral he hopped of the bed and put some clothes on he picked up a formal suit white shirt with black jacket and pants with red tie “Alright then I suppose that this is it old friend but I’m going to keep my promise to you and become a Shinigami like you wanted it’s the least I can do for you after you saved me at the cost of your own life” Ishikawa wiped his face clear of tears and stood up straight ‘not half bad’ he thought as he looked at himself in the mirror “Ishikawa the funeral is about to start in 30 minutes come on” it was the nurse she was going to drop him off then what he did from there was his own choice, Ishikawa nodded “Right lets go then” he walked out of his hospital room and followed the nurse to the top of a hill where many people were standing in black “All right I can take it from here thank you for all your help and for fixing me again if there’s ever anyway I can repay you please let me know” She smiled and laughed “All right then just don’t make me see you again anytime soon stay outta danger you hear?” she turned around and walked off down the stairs “Ok then I can do that” he turned back around and approached the crowd there was no-one he knew there or that he could see “Hey Ishikawa come sit over here with us”.

Ishikawa looked around him trying to see where the noise had come from then he spotted it there were 3 females and one male who he knew it was Captain Ukitake Yoshitake’s Division leader He walked over to the group and bowed before the Captain “I’m sorry Captain Ukitake sir it was my fault that he…” the word wouldn’t come out no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t say it “What are you on about Ishikawa? It is not your fault Yoshitake died if anything you helped him it was the hardest he has ever fought or so I was told by these girls you should just be grateful that you had such a good friend that he would put his life on the line just for you I know I would”, Ishikawa was shocked when he heard Yoshitake’s words ‘It is not your fault Yoshitake died’ “Ok then Well I’m sorry for your loss but ummm Captain Ukitake who are these girls?” Ukitake gave him a strange look “Surely you haven’t forgotten who brought you back here and saved your life as well as Yoshitake’s efforts it was these 3 that saved you”.

Ishikawa bowed before the three Shinigami “Thank you for saving me it means a lot to me”
