Seifer looked at him and sighed. Great, he ruined it. He lifted his head a little. "Sorry, Cloud. That's my decision to make. No one elses." He then turned and dove back into the water. He treaded calmly within and looked at the two of them. "You gonna join me, or what?"

Makoto felt anger swell inside of her, mostly at how easy they made it seem to become... Raine. However, she doubted they knew there may be another way... But she would save that for later, quickly calming herself... She drop the blanket behind her and glance to Cloud. "Don't worry Cloud, I know we are friends and that we will all be there for one another when the time comes. Now come on!" She said as she ran forward and lept into the Sphere.

The water opened up upon her impact into it, then sealed up behind her. The water was a perfect temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. Seifer smiled and continued his swim, humming to himself. "It's not bad, huh?"

Cloud jumped into the sphere then said. "looks like my sphereball career is soon coming to an end. Ah this sphere is so nostalgic."

"Oh, It's wonderful." She said, making herself do a few spins before straitening out and holding her arms out beside her as if she were flying. "I've always wanted to come into one of these things." Throughout all her years living in this city, Makoto never was able to see what the waters of the Sphere were like, and while technically she never did get into one in her lifetime, or rather her cities lifetime, it was beter late than never..

Seifer smiled a bit more, then comfortably curled up in fetal position. The weight of his body now compressed more tightly, he began to slowly sink. He hit the bottom with a soft thud, then snuggled into the sand, laying down and looking up at the others.

Makoto glide somewhat effortlessly through the water, a wide grin wore on her face. She probably looked like a big kid, but it didn't matter at that moment. It was a moment she wanted to get lost in, to remember during the bad times. A fond memory to look back on one day, although she doubted she'd have anyone to tell, again she just didn't care.

Seifer swam slowly up behind Makoto, grabbing her around the waist. "Boo!" He then swam away, rather slowly to tease her, with his head turned to face her. He stuck out his tongue and slowly continued.

"Oh, think your all cool, huh?" She grinned as she gracefully flip around in the water and bulleted after him. "Well, I'll just haveta' show you up!" She said as she flew past him, hanging 'upside down' and sticking her tongue at him.

Seifer's eyes turned as she sped past him, but not in time.The faces of the two ran together. Like a first kiss gone bad, each hit their nose on the other's nose. Seifer meeped and grabbed Makoto's. "Are you alright?"

Makoto giggled and nodded. "I'm alright Seifer.. I'mma lot tougher than I look, ya' know?" She could help but laugh at how careful and worrysome he was when he was around her.

Seifer smiled softly, then blinked and blushed, quickly moving his hands away from her nose and swimming around her again for a bit, then grabbing her gently by the legs and pulling her along.

Makoto let him drag her, letting her arms hang loosely behind her head, swaying in the current caused by Seifer. She smile, staring up toward the sky, enjoying every moment of this. "Thanks for this Seifer." She said softly after a moment. "I think we all really needed a get away like this."

Seifer turned back to her and let go of her legs. Doing so while moving a bit up to face her caused her legs to move lightly past him while her waist pressed to his stomach. he shrugged lightly. "It's fine. I'm just glad I can help."
