Makoto glance back toward Seifer, staring silently at him. Perhaps he was right, perhaps this was why they were brought here. To save everyone from the creature that had destroyed their home. A small smile work its way onto her face as she nodded in understanding. This was what they were chosen to do, what they were born for. She would help save the world.... or so she hope....

Makoto follow after Seifer, although she wasn't invited but that didn't matter. She followed at a small distance, glancing around at the scenery. It was nice here, now that she took the time to care. If it came down to it, she wouldn't mind living here for the remainder of her days, but she knew that wouldn't happen, and in all actuallity that she would only accept that if everyone else stayed with her. These people were her only friends, the people from the past. She was the only one would could keep them safe, seeing as she was the best mage. 'Best'. She scoffed softly, shaking her head as she turn her attention to Seifer, though she didn't speak.

Riki saw Makoto follow after Seifer. "I think someone has a crush." He laid on the ground for a few minutes then said "I need to get my aim better." Riki got up, grabbed his bow, and looked for a shooting range.

Seifer stood on a cliff, overlooking the city. "...Hmm..." He smiled. The soft breeze gently tugged at the hem of his white cape. He smiled again and knelt. "Such a peaceful place...I swear, on my life, I shall protect thee, beloved Iifa...As my father before me did so, I shall protect all that I hold dear on this good earth."

Riki walked around then saw a small animal. "Ok here we go" He shoots and has a perfect shot and kills it. He grabs his prize. Man i hope something exciting happens soon cause i'm bored.

As soon as Riki picked up his prize, 10 people armed with bows came from the trees, aiming their weapons at him. They glared with hatred at him. "Leave this forest now..."

Makoto stood silently off to the side, peering over the edge. It was a beautiful sight, enough so that she made sure to do her best not to eaves drop on what Seifer was saying. While not necessarily a private thing to speak of, he may have wanted to make that vow on his own. She just stare quietly down the cliff, examining the landscape.

Without turning, Seifer spoke. "Makoto, you may join me if you wish. It would be nice to have a friend here to fully enjoy the scenery with me." He smiled a bit and sat down, removing his white armor. Underneath was a brown tunic with chainmail under it. Under the greaves and leggings was a pair of chocolate colored pants.

Riki looks at the guys with bows. He held his bow and pointed it at one of the 10 guys. "what if i don't want to go?"

Makoto smile and gave a slight nod of her head as she moved toward him. She sat at the edge and let her feet stick out over the side. She brush a strand of hair away from her face and turn toward Seifer. "What do you think has become of Alastor? Do you think... That that thing... got him?" that worried her if it had, mostly due to the fact that he was so strong, and they were a bunch of kids...

The men lowered their weapons as a man with a spear came up, pointing his weapon at Riki's neck. "You killed an innocent being. You will leave this forest or be arrested."

Seifer shook his head. "I doubt it. He didn't seem afraid of it, and he didn't try to fight it..."
