Day Late

Makoto continue up the path, eyes still up toward the skies. She was rather curious as to why the birds were all flying in the opposite direction. She turn her head down and look off into the distance. She scratch the back of her head as she did so. From her view point she really couldn't tell what it was they flying away from, but she was determined to find out. Further still she continue forth, up the path.

Riki walked by the group who was talking amongst themselves. "what did i miss?"

Axel: "I really wanted to see Roxas. He's the only one I liked. He made me feel....Like I had a heart."
Roxas: "See thats why I left, sayings like that make us sound gay."

Seifer turned his head to respond, but the roar interrupted him. He turned and gasped lightly, his armor appearing quickly.

Raine had grabbed hold of a few children, then flung them away. They were not the ones it had targeted.

Seifer ran down the path, clasping his hands in prayer. "O, holy ones! Grant me thy grace and honor us with the splendor of thy song."

The clouds above lifted, letting a beam of sunlight through. Seifer lifted his hands and cried out to the heavens, "HOLY SONG!"

A harmonious music began to play, while angelic voices sang to the tune. Seifer drew his sword. "Let's go, you bastard!"

FIGHT!!!

Seifer, enchanted by his Holy Song Paladin Attack, lifts his sword. A beam of light surrounds the blade, charging his sword with the Light element. he slams it down on Raine's massive body. Raine's skin is too tough for his attacks, though. NO DAMAGE!!!!

Day Late

Makoto stare in horror as she saw the creature comming. She couldn't belive that thing was here. Was it looking for them? She shook her head, she didn't have time to think. She darted quickly down the hill toward the town. She could see that Seifer was already fighting. She quicken her pace and was practically flying down the path toward the town. As she drew within fighting range, she raise a hand before her face and spoke magical words as purple wind began to swirl around her. "Thunder!" She shouts as a bolt of electricity spirals down on the beast.

Raine draws back from the magic. Thunder causes 250 damage to Raine's aquatic form. The quick flash of lightning blinds Raine for one turn.

Raine draws back his massive body and jerks himself forward, causing a tidal wave to run over the group. The attack causes 1,000 damage.

Seifer and Makoto: K.O.!!!!!

Seifer falls to the ground, groaning lightly. "How..."

Cloud quickly threw a pheonix down over his fallen comerads then continued his fight. He Slowly unsheathed his blades, Which have been surrounded by lightning energy, and he calmly said the words "Dragon Strike". Tons of blue lightning energy released headed at the beast.

Riki grabbed 3 arrows and shot it at Raine. Hoping it would damage it.

The arrows snap on Raine's skin with no effect. NO DAMAGE!!!

Raine rears back and slams itself down. The massive tidal wave it creates consumes the people fighting it, the town, and the entire island...Nothing is spared from the wrath of the beast.

Annihilated...

Seifer slowly sat up and stared at the sky. He looked about as he clung to a small piece of driftwood and shivered. He looked about, but saw no other survivors...For a moment, he believed himself alone.

Makoto slowly open her eyes to see the brightest of blue skies above her. She reach up, rubbing her forhead and groaning softly in pain. "Sheesh... Was that all a dream? Cuz' dreams shouldn't hurt so much..." She mutter as she slowly sat up. She had expected to see the town, her friends, anything but what she was seeing. Nothing much miles and miles of water. She look below her to see she had be laying on what had once been a rooftop. She twist her head around looking for anyone, but quickly found she was alone. She drew her knees to her chest and hugged them tightly. She didn't know what to do...

Riki got up wondering what happend. After a few minutes he recalled that Raine make a tidal wave and it covered everything. Riki stood there for a few more minutes looked down and saw water up to his ankles. "Wow that beast is strong. Im lucky to be alive." He then realized he was by himself. "Man what a messed up day." Riki got up and started to look for him team.

Seifer turned his head. In one direction, he heard someone walking. In the other, he could feel the aura of someone he knew. So he swam to the aura, and climbed onto the roof. He knelt beside Makoto and gently put an arm on her shoulder. "Are you alright, Makoto?"
