Makoto had been laying back in her bed, silently staring up to the ceiling. She had stop thinking about the recent events, and just decided to forget it. Relax, if anything. She had barely heard the knock, but clearly heard Seifer's voice carry out over the hum of everything. She slid her body up the bed so she was a a slight slouch against the wall and then responded "Yeah, You can come in Seifer." Before he enter, she quickly flip her hood down so it wouldn't be hiding her face.

Seifer opened the door and walked in quietly. "Hey...How ya holdin up?" He asked the question a little hesitantly, as if his own mind dwelled on that very same question.

Makoto twist her face in thought and gave a light shrug of her shoulders. "I feel like I've been to hell and back..." She then smile weakly "But I'm holding up alright." She didn't lie, she did feel ragged, but all the same she was holding up fairly well for someone that had been transported to the future to find out their home was gone, and be constantly hunted by a giant... thing... "What about you? Are.. Are you holding up alright?"

Seifer shrugged softly, but nodded. "About as well as I can..." He then sighed and coughed, clearing his throat. "If there's anything I can do for you, Makoto, feel free to say so." He turned to the window, examining the sea below before Amari called out to all onboard using his speaker system, "We're now arriving at Silimar, Island of Birds!"

Seifer got up on deck, clasping his armor to himself. "Amari, any news on this island? Background, anything?"

Amari saluted to Makoto's right hand. "Aye, sir! Silimar is known by its gentle blue skies and warm-hearted, pacifistic people. It is believed that Raine has never attacked Silimar because they refuse to allow the government of the capital city of Iifa, Thardus, to machinize Silimar, believing that machines lead only to war. Silimar's name comes from the word 'Silimos,' meaning bird, named so due to its vast number of birds from all over the world. The birds never have to migrate south during the winter due to the temperature's constant 65 degrees. If one manages to capture one of these birds, the penalty is death. They say that a warrior endowed with the power of the birds becomes a deadly Sniper." At this, he turned his eyes to Riki.

Seifer tapped his chin, thinking. Amari continued. "But to get such power, you must defeat the Bird Queen, Titania the Owl."

Seifer nodded softly. "I see...So, what shall we do, Makoto?" He turned his head to her.

Riki saw Amari stare at him. "What? OK ok i killed a bunny who says i was going 2 kill the birds to." While Riki said that he started to but his bow down on the ground.

"ha you would want to carry all those pounds again would you riki? Well you wouldn't have to worry about that anyways if you killed a bird you would be good as dead." Cloud said slowly. Then walking up and whispering in seifers ear. "So you and makato in the room alone..... anything interesting happen?"

Seifer blinked. "Not really anything. I just asked if she was alright. Then we just talked a bit."

"Man you guys are always together. O yah i forgot. Why are we going to Silimar? Even though Raine never attacked that place it seems to be following us."

Indeed, what Riki said was true. Down below, unseen by any but the deep water fish of the ocean, Raine swam quietly, following the ship quietly. It was attracted to the Summoner's smell, but was also afraid of it. Back in the ancient times, it was a Summoner who had come together with the twins to seal Raine away. That memory lingered in Raine's subconcious.

As Makoto step onto deck, she flip her hood up again to shadow her face. "Well, I think we should land, I'm sure that this will only allow us to further ourselves.." She nodded a bit "Perhaps we will also find a lead as to what might have happened to Alastor. I would imagine that might be rather important. I hope that if we find him, we may find answers... And a way to our Home..." She paused for a moment, frowning "Er.. Time..." She corrected herself.

She wasn't sure what it was, but she had the feeling Raine was there, following them, observing them. She couldn't be sure if it was just fear of it showing up at any time, or a real feeling, but either way, she kept this to herself. The last thing she needed was everyone to worry about her.

" I don't think we should go to this island. because of what riki said. This is a peaceful island and if we land on shore their chances of being attacked become so much higher. and fighting raine is really hard having to protect your self and also making sure that princess here doesn't die. remember what happened last time Siefer. Wouldn't it be foolish to go ahead"

Raine twitched, irritated. The Summoner noticed its presence...It was best to retreat. Raine turned its massive body and swam away, diving deeper, scaring away even the largest of predators.

Seifer nodded, as did Amari. "Men, make ready to land!" The ship pulled into a small harbor in Silimar's capitol city, Anuenue. A young woman walked through the crowds gathered at the docks to see the ship. She stood by it as it docked and watched as the group walked down the gangplank.

Riki with his archer's clothes, Cloud with his dual blades and armor, Seifer with his holy sword, and lastly, a young girl with a red and black cloak. The woman gasped, as did the crowd. Some bowed, while others cheered, but the lady walked up closely to Makoto. "Are you the new Summoner we've heard about from the dark-skinned ones?"

She looked Makoto up and down, then checked her companions. "Watashi wa Honda Haruhi." She bowed her head. "Welcome to Silimar. What may I, leader of this quiet little fishing town, do for you?"

Seifer's question sprang from his mouth. "Have you seen a man by the name of Alas-"

He stopped asking, having noticed someone. The figure walked forward, dressed in a black cloak. His sword hung quietly on a back-sheathe. "It's good to see you're still alive, kid." Alastor spoke the words softly, then walked forward and hugged Seifer.

Seifer was dumbstruck, then his senses came back to him, and he smacked Alastor over the head. "Where the hell have you been?! We've been worried sick over you, damn it!"

Alastor grabbed Seifer's arm and Makoto's too. "I'll explain later. Haruhi-" Haruhi looked up. "-take these three to your home and show them your best hospitality. Riki, you come with me. I've got something to show you." He grabbed Riki's arm and pulled him away.

Seifer was now confounded. He didn't get what the heck was going on, but decided to go with it. For a Paladin, he felt rather stupid...

Alastor grabbed Riki and pulled him away. After a few minutes of walking Riki pulled Alasor off of him. "Ok whats is going on. You have been got for a long and just show up here waiting for us. What the hell man. I thought u died some how."

Makoto was a little awestruck and dumbfounded as well. She had certainly never expected to find Alastor yet. She had thoughts they would never find him again. IN the confusion of it all, she had lost all of the questions she'd wished to ask, and also wishing to have punched him square in the face. Sure, they were alive because of him, but why the secrecy? How had he known? And more importantly, what had he been doing here all this time? It was so very aggrivating to her, but she decided to just let it go for the time being, following the woman in silence.
