The 4 Nations

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Four Nations make up the world, and certain people from each of these nations have the ability to "bend" their own native element. The Fire Nation started a war 100 years ago with the other nations for world domination. It's up to the benders of the Earth, Water, and Air Nations to put a stop to the Fire Nation's tyranny.

Water: Waterbending is an ancient art unique to the culture of the Water
Tribes. Their legend states that the moon was the first Waterbender,
and that ancestors of current benders saw how it pushed and pulled
the tides, and learned how to control the water themselves. Unlike
the other bending arts, Waterbending is defensive in nature.
Waterbenders get their strength from the spirit of the moon and
their life from the spirit of the ocean. Together, they create and
maintain a balance. They are also able to bend water in its three
forms: liquid, ice, and steam. Waterbenders can also heal various
wounds and sicknesses using water.

Earth: Earthbenders use the earth as their weapon. Very muscular, they
use their own physical strength to power their attacks. The source of
their power is the Earth itself; the very rock that makes up the planet
combines with their own physical abilities to give an Earthbender
his/her great power. Earthbenders are able to cause small earthquakes,
turn the ground into quicksand, and magnetize their limbs to stone,
allowing them to climb sheer walls or cliffs.

Air: Airbending is a dynamic skill. Benders use air to enhance natural abilities,
allowing one person to defend against multiple attackers from different
disiplines. They are able to jump higher, run faster, etc. than those of
other nations. Most Airbenders carry a staff, which makes their attacks
more powerful, and can also turn into a small glider to allow them to fly
short distances. Airbenders are able to create small tornadoes and air
domes for protection.

Fire: Firebending is an aggressive, offensive fighting force. To make up for
the lack of defensive moves, a Firebender will try to overwhelm an
oppenent with a barrage of blows. True Firebending power comes from
controlled breathing, not necessarily physical strength or size. High-
level Firebenders are able to produce a blue flame, which burns hotter
than a normal red flame. Another high-level technique involves creating
lightning, which takes a while to produce but is very deadly.

Personality: Mei Ling is a caring young girl that loves her family and friends
a lot. She is very close with her best friend Solmai, whom she
would do anything for. She thinks that her way is the right way,
which sometimes leads to fights between her teachers and
family. She is not unwilling to listen though, and if you prove
her wrong she will accept it. Mei Ling is clever and likes to
practice Waterbending and healing. She gets very mad if you
interrupt her during practice, and most people have learned to
avoid asking her anything until she is done. They know that bad
things happen when you get a Waterbender angry.

Bio: She has been trained by her mother in the healing arts since she was
3, and has also recently begun to study the offensive side of
Waterbending, something that was previously unavailable to women.
Mei Ling's father is a member of the Northern Water Tribes's council,
so he is busy a lot of the time. Her family is wealthy, so she is able
to buy (usually) what she wants. When she was 7, she got very mad
and accidentally destroyed half of her house. She realized then that
Waterbending can also be bad and destructive, and vowed to only use
her abilities to help people.

personality:koharu is very strict when it comes to obeying the rules. she likes to hang out with her friend Rima going around town.she takes her school work very seriously. koharu will come off as mean when meeting her for the first time but she is a really nice person(if your on her good side and dont anger her). she is an amazing firebender and she wants to be a member of the war council one day. Koharu is being spoiled by her dad so she makes him go any thing for her like buying her anythin she wants to throwing someone in jail for looking at her the wrong way. sfe also has a bad temper(so stay on her good side).

bio:Koharu is in high school and is currently learning how to do lightning.
she thinks that the fire nation is the greatest nation there is and that the war is good(thats why she wants to be on the war council). her father is in a general in the army,her mother is a house wife,her brother and sister are both in school. when Koharu and Rima disscus the war they get into an argument because Rima thinks the war is bad while Koharu doesn. they dont talk about it anymore because Koharu threatend Rima saying if she says any thing about the war being bad she would tell her father and have him get her aressred.Koharus father spoiles he and her mother doesnt like that. Koharu doesnt really like her mother because she thinks that she wasted her potential by raising a family and she could have done something.

Cheerful very active all the time moving or going somewhere.
Almost never gets tired.Still not so good with talking human languages but he know enough to understand.He would rather chose animal than human.

Bio:Born and grown up in wild of rocky jungle with wild animals.
He got luck that he was saved from being eaten by some couple of monkeys who were his familly.
In early age he showed Earthbanding skills.But not only that since he lived on trees he menage to band with wood too.Using his banding skill for protecting from wild predators he never learnd some offensive banding.But that changed the moment when his "family" got killed by wild raccoontigers.Now hes traveling around world expending his Earth and Wood banding skills.

personality:a very carefree person by nature he can be very serious when need be,rules and laws don't mean much to him though he would never steal from or harm an innocent man,he is very loyal to his friends and tries to never lie even to a point where it would hurt him if he told the truth.He almost never gets angry with anybody but when he does it takes a lot to calm him.He also likes to experiment with things just for the hell of it if he thought he could earthbend a spike while at the same time jumping over the spike coming out of the ground he would try it.

Bio:Monjuu is currently doing nothing but the job and really hasn't done much in his life the only reason hes doing this job is to try to hone his earthbending skills a little.He didnt go to school therefore doesnt really have much knowledge of things other then what you can learn on your own he cant count past 50 and can only read the very basics and he only learned this for the job.His father is always busy doing something and sometimes forgets to do things around the house therefore Monjuu sometimes has to cook and clean but most of the time he just leaves it be.He learned earthbending at age 10 and has learned quickly.He doesn't really have any dreams for his future but he does want to go move somewhere else when he gets older.His mother was in the war against the fire nation but died when the fire nation launched a sneak attack Monjuu doesn't remember anything about her other than her name.He has been friends with leeloj since birth and loves him like a brother.

Quite recently, she has taken the job as a mercenary to gain a small profit and to expand her air bending abilities. She's never refused a job from anyone before.

Personality: Areleh possesses a fractured personality. On the one hand, he's usually funny, laid-back, curious, and sensitive. However, Areleh is also cynical, cruel, unforgiving, and merciless when triggered. It's hard to predict when he shifts, but it's almost never at a good time, or so it would seem.

Bio:
Areleh grew up happily with his family in a small Earth Kingdom village. His father was a master Air Bender, using his skills with a forge to make glass. His mother wasn't a bender, but she studied medicine and healed what could be healed without bending. When Areleh was 10, he and his siblings began learning how to Air Bend from their father. That's what caught the eyes of some hidden Fire Nation soldiers

They came in the night. His mother was the first to die. She resisted, screaming and throwing a fit. This roused his father who then began fighting the small army of Fire Nation soldiers with the local Earth Benders. A stray bolt of lightning caught his brother in the chest, killing him. After that, Areleh's father went beserk and flew head-first into the Fire Benders. He never did find his father's body.

Ayra went missing at some point during the night. Areleh came to find that she had been kidnapped by the Fire Nation soldiers. That was the day that Areleh began to search for his sister. That was the day his personality cracked. That was the day Areleh became determined to avenge his family.

Bio: Born October 31st, Avan's life was one of spoiled seclusion. His sister was the one who spoiled him, actually. The mother had died giving birth, and the father had died in the war a few months before the birth. Avan was brought up like a gentleman. At the age of 15, he entered the Fire Nation's army. At the age of 16, he was knighted. At 17, he joined the Fire Nation's Crimson Knights, the top four warriors in the entire nation, a title given only by the nation's lord himself. For a year, he slaughtered countless innocents and pillaged and burned thousands of homes, crops, and villages. Woman were taken as concubines, men as slaves, and children as target practice.

Soon, though, Avan saw it, the evil within himself. He resented what he had become, and split from the army. He quit and went into seclusion back home. There, he packed up his things, said goodbye to his dear sister, and ran away from home. Behind him now is the trail that the military follows. They will kill him if he's found. The Fire Nation despises deserters. In a week, he went from national hero to being the man on every wanted poster. Now, he makes his way to the Water Nation, just moments away from its beautiful capitol and border, soldiers at his heels.

Bio: Born in the land of the Sun Warriors the original fire benders he lost his family at the age of 4. Became sort of a child to all the families of the Sun Warrior Fire Nation. At age 16 He began his training of true fire bending and started his long spiritual journey at age 17 and has been on this journey ever since. He is now 18 years old.

Sasuke stood over the edge of the Northern Water Tribe on a high cliff. Because the Sun Warriors had been secluded for so many years they had no idea of the trouble that the Fire Nation was causing so ignorantly Sasuke went on down to the front gates of the Northern Water Tribe. "Hello, my name is Sasuke I was wondering if you could spare me a room and board for the evening. My Journey is still long and I am tired."

The night sky was clear and calm. Thousands of stars twinkled silently above as the wind blew softly across the endless fields and meadows. Only one road was seen for miles, and it only had one occupant this night.

Clad in a pair of soft leather boots, black pants, an open-front dark blue robe, and a pair of leather bracers around his wrists, the young man walked calmly along the dirt road. He carried a staff in hand and a longsword on his back. His only companion was a winged Lemur that flew above his head, chittering softly.

Slowly, the sound of many voices began to carry on the wind. Cocking his head to one side, the young man turned to face a small group of rapidly approaching men. Metal armor clanked noisily, and the large torches easily illuminated them. Fire Nation soldiers.

As the encircled him, the Airbender just looked up at his companion, who quickly chittered and began flying circles around the group. One of the soldiers took a step forward and pointed a finger at the young man. "You are under arrest."

"Is there... something wrong that I have done?" Turning to face the man, the Airbender stared at him passively, almost as if he didn't even really see him.

"You're an Airbender, and an enemy of the Fire Nation!"

"You don't even know my name, yet you call me an enemy?" The Firebender flinched and took a step back. "If you're going to try and arrest me, at least let me introduce myself."

Looking around him, the Airbender gave his staff a twirl before planting it in the ground. "My name is Areleh..." Before any of them could react, Areleh spun around on the spot and pushed down at the ground. A dome of air swirled up around him and threw the soldiers back.

Stumbling up, one of the soldiers threw a punch at Areleh, who dodged the attack easily, slipping to the soldier's side before tripping him with the staff. Two more jumped up and started launching fireballs at him. Spinning his staff around, Areleh created a vortex. The wind tunnel deflected the fireballs before throwing the two soldiers off into a boulder, knocking them out cold.

"Mesu, are there anymore Fire Nation soldiers coming this way?" Areleh shouted up at the winged Lemur. The creature did a loop and shook it's head, chittering madly. "Thanks."

As he started to continue on his journey, Areleh stopped and hooked the staff through a loop on his back and drew the longsword. Mesu seemed to detect some change and flew above Areleh's head.

When the lead soldier got up, he ran after Areleh and let loose a stream of fire. Seconds before it hit him, Areleh spun and made a slash motion at the ground, a wall of air shooting up and protecting him. The moment the fire stopped, the wall went down.

Looking at the man with a decidedly different look, a look of contempt and disgust, Areleh spun around and made another slashing motion, a sweep at neck level. The man had no warning before his head fell from his shoulders. Mesu landed on Areleh's shoulders, ears drooping.

"I'm sorry Mesu... You know how things work..." Turning around, Areleh continued on, not even stopping to look at the men he had knocked out or killed. "We still have to find Ayra."

Monjuu walked down the valley holding his crate of equipment on a slab of stone on the walls of the valley then letting it drop a few feet before catching it with another stone.After a while he realized it was getting late and he still had a full day to go before reaching the village so he decided to light a torch and continue on through the night,at least until he got too tired....about half an hour later he started to set up camp,promising himself that next time he would keep going,but right now he was spent as he drifted off to sleep he could swear he saw a fire in the distance.

10:30 P.M., Sunday, July 22nd. He stopped slowly and coughed. It was getting a bit colder as he approached the Water Nation. But he couldn't stop running. He had to continue moving. Slowly, he fell and began crawling, then hid under a tree, which seemed to close its roots around him in protection. Nature often protected those with a just cause.

Many soldiers passed by, but none noticed as a certain man slipped back and ran passed them with the speed of lightning. He knelt and summoned a small amount of flames to cause a bit of smoke on a dead tree. It was enough. The flames roared, smoking the entire forest up, hiding his retreat. He ran from the forest and ducked low to avoid a stray fire one of the soldiers had shot. He was free now. They couldn't, and wouldn't dare, to try and enter the Water Nation without alot of backup.

(That wasn't a story. That was just a post. He's playing his part in the entirety of this whole story, just like the rest of us.)

Personality: Some what shy but very aggressive. She has a kind heart when it comes to the closet of friends and family, but doesn't trust anyone. She is always ready to fight, and has trained for the last 10 years to do so properly.

Bio: Raised in the fire nation village her mother wanted the best for her. At the age of 9 her mother sent her far into the woods to train and develop her fire ability. As her mother gave her a kiss on the forehead, she was killed. Fiamette ran from the killers and went deep into the woods where she stayed even now.

Sitting on the rock her feet dangled into the water at the top of the waterfall. She watched the fire in the distance blaze through the forest. Sighing she layed back and watched the stars peacefully.

Kirimi leaped from tree to tree. "I'm catching up!" she said cheerfully. Kirimi was currently on a mission to secure some old lady's kitty. She used her staff as a glider and flew silently while carefully avoiding branches that were in her way. As she was nearing her target, her hair got caught on a hidden branch and she was yanked off course. She glared at her target got away once again.

Kirimi winced as she untangled her long dark brown hair from the evil branch. "You know...maybe I should shave off my hair." she said rubbing her head. She closed her eyes and rested against the trunk of the tree. "What should I do now?"

Monjuu woke up and stumbled to his feet and stretched.He vaguely remembered something right before he fell asleep that troubled him but after some thought he decided it was nothing and packed up his camp and started off again.
