Out in the hills of Romania, it is said you can find a secret fortress-like castle, where people go to school, wielding extraordinary abilities. That place truly does exist...I know...because I'm a student there.

Perdition Academy takes in the sick, the healthy, the lonely, the popular. Anybody who wants to come can come, but under the two conditions that they just be themselves, and stay in human form. The Headmaster, Avan Amaranth, is actually a god in human form.

You are a student at this Academy, where you learn to control your abilities and learn new ones. Here, you study:

Alchemy
Blacksmithing
Light Magic
Dark Magic
Twilight Magic is studied by an elite group of students. These people are chosen for having All A's on 2 of their report scrolls in a row.
And several other things.

Name: Raphael Sakaki

Nickname: The Truth-Fairy, referring to his power and the fact that he has wings all the time, whether he tries to hide them or not, so he keeps them bound so they don't get in anyone's way, even though it hurts. he hates his nickname and wishes for something cool to be called by.

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Vampire mother and Angel father

Power due to race: All vampiric powers, but since his family is a direct descendant, he in particular, of Dracula, they share none of the vampire weaknesses of the people who were turned. Raphael in particular, though, has a strange ability to make people tell the truth when he is around.

Personality: Kind and gentle, loving and loyal, he is everything. Girls wanna be with him, guys wanna be like him, and yet nobody wants to be near him....Strange, huh? When he transforms into his vampire form, be careful, you could be next, even if he is gentle when drinking from you.

Bio: Born of vampire and angel, he was shunned both by Heaven and Hell. He has never been accepted by people, so he has lost his voice because he never had a need to use it. His parents were murdered the day he turned 5, and he moved away to hide among humans, who didn't accept him even then. The only friend he had was his girlfriend who died in a drive-by shooting when they were 15. He tracked down the murderers and fed till they had nothing left in them. Now, he has apparently become mute. Can someone help this pour soul find his way back home, or has his heart been lost forever to his hatred for all others who have shunned him?

We'll start when we have at least 2 people. I'll put first post tomorrow morning if we get another person.

Name: Razzly

Nickname: Other call her Razzle-Dazzle because they think its cute. She, on the other hand, thinks it makes her sound like a type of candy.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Race: Fairy

Power due to race: Healing Magic

Personality: She acts tough and is a bit tomboyish. She is angered easily due to teasing when she was younger.

Bio: When she was a child Razzly and her sister wandered out into a human city by accident. As a result, the humans attempted to catch them to use their magic. Razzly got away...at the expense of her sister. She has no idea if her sister died or is still alive somewhere. A few years later, in human form, she went back to the city to find her sister. She vowed she wouldn't go back until she found her sister. As she lived in the city she was mercilessly teased because she was...vertically challenged. But that didn't stop her cheery disposition. Fairies are supposed to be happy creatures, weren't they?

Name: Virgil Sorin.
Nickname: The Ghost, because of his special power to turn invisible for three minutes everytime he wants to.
Age: 16.
Gender: Male.
Race: Human, both parents human. Virgil is the only one with special abilites, which he received at the age of 4.
Power: He can turn invisible for three minutes everytime he feels like it. He received the power at the age of 4, after drinking one of his father's alchemical experiments.
Personality: Loud, stubborn, self-confident, but also very kind. He is very beloved by girls, yet does not have any in mind.
Biography: Virgil Sorin was born in the richer districts of a big Romanian city, to both human parents, who were alchemists. At the age of four, he drank one of his father's experiments and in result he received his special ability. He is currently studying alchemy at the perdition academy on the hills, on year one.
Appearance: Long white hair, blue eyes, tall, normal weight. He is a very handsome student.

Name: Alec Wu-Streak-Han
Nickname: Little Prodigy
Age: 14.
Gender: Male.
Race: Human Chimera, meaning his parents were a cross of mythological creatures, however, he takes a human form. His parents were a griffin who could take a human form and sorceress.
Power: Temporarily grows wings on his foot and an appearance of a sword-like claw protrudes from his hands. His eyes turn yellow and enhances his sight, smell, and speed. Has a high magical potential though he is untrained. He does have significant martial arts training, specifically a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Shaolin Wushu
Personality: Quiet and reserved. May appear cold to only since when he gets angry he tends to grow into his chimera form. Extremely intelligent and in his spare time he thinks. Girls think he's cute, because of his personality and his young age compared to others.
Biography: Alec Streak was born in Nanjing, China conceived by a Russian sorceress attracted to a powerful Chinese vizard whose real form was actually a griffin with extremely high magical powers. However, both his parents put him in an orphanage due to their high risk jobs and so he grew up without powers, only that he could do things others could not. Considered by many to be the fastest thinker and fastest mover in general, he nevertheless without any love in his childhood is more vulnerable than anyone else to suffer depression. He is currently studying a double major in alchemy and dark magic.
Appearance: Jet black hair up to his shoulders and unusually slanted Oriental eyes giving him a deceptively sleepy appearance. His eyes are mismatched, one dark brown and one amber. He is tall and lanky and somehow always has an abnormally large appetite. Usually wears a black swallowtail suit and a black scarf around his neck. Looks Chinese.

Avan himself tapped the floor, and a light floated up into the palm of his hand. This light, it seemed, was a fairy. She giggled and floated to the a student, taking his or her hand and attempting to drag them to Avan. The student, amused, followed upward to the giant of a man.

With a voice so calm and serene, that all the troubles of the world seemed to drift away, he spoke. "Room 206, the Potions teacher, Master Rin."

In the corner of the Gathering Hall , ina table by himself, sat Raphael. As people passed, he merely glared at them in disgust.

Virgil left the dormitory with a smile on his face. He straightened his school uniform and ran downstairs, entering the gathering hall. He looked around. A lot of people were walking around, some of them talking in little groups. He spotted Raphael sitting by one off the tables. He came closer and sat down across from him. "What's up?" Said Virgil looking at his cheerless partner.

Alec sauntered from his dorm down to the gathering hall slowly and silently. He did not really want to be there, rather he wanted to be alone in his room, reading up on dark magicks. However he still went as was required of students to meet each other. As he walked in, nobody looked at him in a strange way, which was unusual considering his swallowtail outfit but which was fine by him and quickly spotted his acquantainces on the train ride here, namely Virgil who was sitting next to some glum and cold looking kid. Alec thought that kid's personality was rather like his. He ambled slowly over towards them, hooded eyes observing and recording.

"Virgil, who's that?"

Virgil looked at Raphael closely. "Everything fine? You seem... emm.. troubled."

As Alec walked by, Virgil turned to him. "I just met him here. He looks a bit lonely, so I thought I could accompany him for a while." Virgil winked and looked back at Nicholas.

Rphael stared up at them quietly, then turned awy as a pair of girls walked by, gawking at Virgil and Alec. "Trust me, that guy's somebody you shouldn't talk to. He's mean..."

Alec paid them no heed and turned back to observe Raphael.
"Why don't we go to the courtyard to talk better?"

He sighed and nodded, then stood and walked with Alec to the courtyard, wondering how to communicate that he was mute.

"I've been watching, and I know you're mute. Don't ask me how only that I've been around many people when I was young. I'll tell you something, we'll talk by telepathy. Its easy, straightforward thinking. Alright?"

Alec was actually pleasantly surprised, he hadn't expected to find anyone he would like at this academy, moreover he had been ready to deal some painful blows of his own.

Raphael blinked, but seemed almost to smile. He caught himself and returned to his normal scowl. "Alchemy, Light and Black Magic classes, Potions, Martial Arts, Sword Play, and Elemental Magic, but it's rumored I might be going to the Elite dorms to study there..." He looked down as he thought, then looked up to see a couple of people walk by, snuggling into each other's grip.

Razzly was running top speed through the corridor carrying a stack of books that went higher than her head. "I'm going to be late!" she said panicking. Not watching where she was going, she crashed into a group of guys that she was not familiar with.
