As the sun set overhead, the mercenaries take the opportunity to take a last drink before setting off the next morning. Many fires are built, but somehow they all manage to turn into one giant one. The merriment continues.

Dan was sitting by himself staring at the fire. Actually he'd much've preferred to have not come out tonight and gone to sleep, but he didn't think that was really an option, at least, not with this amount of noise going on that is. He looked off towards a group of some others they were shouting and jeering. Between the bodies he saw a girl who he'd knocked into earlier. Lizzie her name was, she seemed nice enough, a bit over the top maybe. Dan really didn't have anything bad or good to say about her.

Lizzie fell over. For a split second everything slowed down, then it sped back up again when the drink fell on her head. Cheers and laughs went around the group. she was the latest one out. She really regretted playing now, but somehow balancing a drink on your head seems like a much better idea when you're told about it.

Oh well.

She got up and joined in the chanting and jeering.

Avan watched the merrymaking, sitting in the far back, against a tree. "Your bantering and babbling and merrymaking will wake up the dead, I think. And alert the enemy to our presence, should scouts be present..."

Lee stood by himself in a far corner, gazing into the wind, oblivious to the sounds of merry making behind him. Taking out a tome that he carried around to read, he sat under the shade of a tree and soon became absorbed.

Kay was busy tying a knot out of the thick vine stems creeping down her. "One, two, three, four...," she counted, oblivious to the fingers people pointed at her.

Alex approached the man slumped against the tree with the grin, Ren was tailing behind him, "Wake the dead eh? Sounds like fun!" Alex laughed and held out a hand. "The name's Aleksandr, Aleksandr Francois. That gloomy gus back there is my partner Ren, hes not the most talkative of people."

Avan lifted his eyes to the strange person who approached him. "Necromancer...Spectre...Why do you trouble me, foul mages of the dark?" He asked the question with less than hatred, as if it were just any other normal question.

Off to the side, Neku looked in at the group at the fire. Shaking his head, he realised that he expected people like that to take the mission. The sparrow sat near him, pecking at some grass seeds. He could sense Neku was uncomfortable. This was outside the situations the he was usually subjected to. He decided not to join in the merriment, and attempted to fall asleep.

Alex tilted his head, "Now aren't you a friendly one?"

Ren stepped forward, placing his hand on Alex's shoulder, "I told you he wouldn't want to talk. Let's just go back to our tent."

Alex turned and pouted at Ren, "You always ruin my fun! Come on let's just go!" Alex grabbed Ren's hand dragging him towards the party.

Avan looked at Ren, taking in his full appearance once he entered the light. A spectre, indeed, but still not as loud and annoying as most he'd encountered. The magi shrugged his head and sat up more, reading from a small book as he looked at the locket. "I'll be home soon, darlings."

Alex popped up behind Lee, dragging Ren along behind him. "Ooh what're you reading?" Alex asked childishly.

"Alex, I'm sure he doesn't want to b-"

Ren was quickly cut off by Alex talking again. "I have a tome too ya know, well, it's more of a grimoir, but pretty much the same thing."

Avan watched the scene from behind his book, stroking his chin and beard stubble. "Oh my, someone's gonna get a pounding, metinks."

Azer spun around and around truly enjoying the merriment.His stomach growled with hunger and he decided he wanted some meat he stumbled over to his coat and took out his beef jerky and started in on it watching the party and all that went on.

From a tree high above, Orthos watched the party go on and contemplated going down and seeing what he could learn.

((One thing I wanted to put in, yes, this is the same guy that's in the Ultimate War RP. I just like him. ))

Ferek walked among the crowded mercenaries, feeling foolish. These men and women were all obviously highly skilled. Who was he fooling, volunteering for something like this? He sighed, turning to extricate himself from the group and get to bed. He had gone no further than five paces when he bumped into a man with a large flower adorned on the back of his cloak. Ferek sputtered in surprise, "Excuse me, sir. Not watching where I'm going..."
