Cardcaptors: A New Adventure

When Sakura Kinomoto, a fourth grade girl, unleashed the power of Clow's cards, she was destined to become a Cardcaptor. When she sealed them away at last and used her magic to transform them into Sakura Cards, something unimaginable occured. The book somehow disappeared from her home, and someone else has unleashed the power of the Sakura Cards.

You and some friends were just minding your own business while at another friend's party. Next thing ya know, that particular friend shows you all a book after everyone leaves. It's got a weird symbol on it. The friend dares everyone that they should all open it at once, since it hasn't opened for anyone before. You all agree, but when you open it, the circle from the book appears beneath your feet, as a large deck of cards flies out of the book and disappears from sight. Then, also from the book, comes what appears to be a stuffed animal. This animal tells you he is Kerberos, Guardian Beast of the Seal of the Sakura Book, "but you can call me Kero. Master Sakura called me Avan for a long while when he went senile." He tells you that you all have a task, since all of you opened the book at once. He speaks of magic and other things, but you get the gyst of what he means. It goes somethin like:

'Find all the cards that fled from the book, put them back in it, and everything will be ok. If you don't, a catastrophe will occur.'

Each of you notices you have one of the cards in your hand, each having chosen the master that fits its personality best.

Card's Power: Being able to fly and take people places- also can beat enemies down with wind.
Personality: Quirky and Cocky, though she is kind. She hates being underestimated and wants to live up to people's expectations.
Description: Brown-haired, smiling, and agile. She wears odd clothes that don't match.

Card: The Firey
Card's Power: The Firey (火) is one of the elemental cards. The Firey is one of the two basic elemental cards (aside from Light and Dark), that is directly connected to Cerberus. (The other being the Earthy). The Firey resembles an angel covered with flames.
Personality: Calm and cool at all times. Loves practicing with his Samurai Sword.
Description: Short Black hair, Red eyes, When not at school he is always running around in his (long since past away) grandfathers Samurai clothing and armor.

Card's Power: One of the four main elemental powers, thus a high level magic card, and thus very hard to use continuously, Windy can call upon the might of the wind to snare enemies or bring others safely down from, or up to, high places.
Personality: Gentle hearted and quiet. He's the 'Li' of the group.
Description: Black hair down to his waist, with a small smile and green eyes. He often has his hair tied into a ponytail, or a braid that crosses down across his shoulder and chest.

Card: The Sweet
Card's Power: The Sweet is able to turn objects into edible sweets or make other foods taste sweet.
Personality: Bubbly and charming. She loves making new friends.
Description: Blonde hair that goes a little bit past her shoulders and brown eyes. Her hair is usually in a half ponytail.

It was the day after they found out they were the new Cardcaptors. Irvine was sitting in the courtyard, eating one of the breakfast pizzas that the cafeteria served, while looking out the chain-link fence at the elementary portion of the school at his little sister. She waved at him and walked up to the fence, where he handed her a small bag of candy. "Now Tomoyo, you can't eat that all at once. You'll get a belly ache."

Tomoyo nodded and ran off, giggling. Irvine smiled and sat down on the bench beside the fence. "Such a good morning...I wonder where everyone else is. Kero-kun told us to meet up here..."

Sasuke came running up to Irvine. "Hey Irvine. So do you have any idea what this meeting that Kero wanted us to have is about? I had to skip out on morning sword practice and I am not to happy. I havent even had the chance to wear my gandfathers armor for the morning. Thats gonna spell bad carma for me man. (Yelling now). Hey Kero, you stuffed animal where are you?"

"Good morning, Katsuragi-san, Misaki-san!" Sasume called out cheerfully as she ran to meet them.

Irvine looked up. "Are? Sasume-chan...No, I guess none of us are late, unless you count Cattleya-san. And she's late for everything but bento."

Kero opened Sasume's backpack and came out, coughing and hacking. "You need to poke some holes in there, Sasume! I couldn't breathe!" He looked around and counted the four. "Ok, so Neko-chan ain't here yet. We can't wait, though. So I'll explain now."

He reached into the backpack and took out the Sakura Book. "Ok, each of you has a card. And I'm sure you've each noticed that they respond if you call their names. For example, whichever one of you said WINDY, is the one who caused the rest of the cards, except for the extra three and Windy, to escape into the world using Windy's power. Now then, Sasume will keep the Sakura Book, since she was the one whose home it was found in. I'll stay with her and the book so that we don't get easily separated."

He turned to Irvine. "You, with the pizza. Windy's special power is that she, as commander of wind, can communicate with other cards. The other cards will know who you all are, and will try their best to avoid capture by you. As you may have noticed, some have a gentle nature, like Fly and Windy. Others, such as Firey, have a little temper problem. But if you can get a card into its physical formand manage to keep it held still, you can capture it. Got it?"

Irvine nodded. "Why're you telling me this though?"

Kero grinned and floated up to him. "I'm telling everyone. Just you in particular because you seem to know a bit more."

Irvine nodded once more. "Anything else we need to know?"

Kero spoke again. "Yep. Expect the unexpected. Also, you each have a Key. Supposedly, it can transform into different shapes based on the wielder's personality. However, I've only seen it as a staff..."

Irvine spoke for the last time. "So, if you're the guardian, how come you weren't keeping the cards held in place?"

Kero meeped and gulped. "...I was, um....Taking a nap?"

Irvine looked at him suspiciously. "For how long?"

Kero meeped once more. "About 5 years or so?"

Sasuke had a rather annoyed look on his face. "For 5 years? Way to be the guardian Kero-Beros. So how do we make these keys of ours work?"

"Sorry guys I'm late!" Esperanza called, her long brown hair flowing behind her. She was wearing a beautiful blouse with sports shorts underneath. "I had to take care of Moxie and made sure she didn't eat Fly... and Kero-chan, can you tell me what happened?"

Kero sighed. "What do you mean what happened? It's simple. You became a Cardcaptor. All four of you are Cardcaptors...And as for your Keys, hold them in your extended right hand and put your magic into them by saying, and ya gotta say it exactly, 'Key that hides the powers of the Dark. Show to me your true form. I, insert your first name here, command you under our contract. Release!' The key should take its true form at that time."

Sasuke held his key out in front of him. "So thats how it works." Sasuke started to do as Kero had said. "Key that hides the powers of the Dark. Show to me your true form. I, Sasuke, command you..." Before he could finish the bell rang for 1st period. "Oh crap I'm gonna be late again. And I've already got 2 tardies in a row."

Irvine sighed. "Don't do that while others are around, Sasuke-kun. We don't want to catch unwanted attention." He stood, licking his fingers clean. "I'll see you guys later." He stretched and walked away with his backpack.

Kero crawled back into Sasume's backpack and closed it shut. "I'll wait here until you call for me, Sasume...And for lunch, I'd like somethin sweet."

Irvine walked back, having forgotten to say something. "That reminds me. Let's all meet somewhere nobody else would go. Around the back of the gym, for instance."
