Back in Japan's civil war, there was a man named Oni-Ningen, the Demon Man. He swathed a path of blood and destruction, ushering in a new era. He disappeared 10 years ago, and no one knows where to. This man became a legend. He was a feared swordsman of the previous era, said to have been the last samurai. But don't you worry, children. That man no longer exists. At least, he doesn't kill people anymore.

(Last names first in Japan. Remember that if you wanna be authentic. You don't have to be, though.)
(Also remember that swords are no longer allowed to be worn outside.)

Job: A wandering, soft-hearted swordsman who attracts children like a magnet attracts iron.

Appearance: black hakama and white kimono, carries around a reverse blade sword, which, as everyone knows, is completely non-lethal, but very painful.

Hometown: Tokyo, Japan

Personality: Looks like a goof at times, but can be quite serious. Has an everlasting kindness that dissolves into nothing when he sees someone about to be hurt. For some odd reason, he can be very silly. Loves children.

Bio: When he was 10 years old, he was sold into slavery and raised by a family of women. That very day, the family was taking a trip from Kyoto to Tokyo. They were attacked and murdered by bandits. The bandits were killed by a great swordsman who took in the young boy, who at the time was named Soruki Sanada. The swordsman renamed him Avankiri Jun. As he grew up, he went from one employer to the other. He was hired as an assassin and performed exceedingly well. Finally, he became involved in a civil war. He sided with the rebels who wanted to create a new, more peaceful world after destroying the old regime. He earned his title during that war. Afterward, he disappeared for 10 years, until...
