Fruits Basket 2: The New Cursed Family

Well, I figured it would make a great Rp..... Except that you are one of the cursed family members, but it's no the Sohma family. It's the....Ichigo family! I'm kidding.....Truthfully.....

You are a member of the Sakurada family. You are cursed to forever change into a certain animal when under extreme stress or are hugged by a member of the opposite gender. However, this only happens when someone who is not a family member hugs you. But first, I must tell you the animals and introduce the sorty behind them.

There was once a cat, a dog, a rat, a horse, a dragon, a bat, a rabbit, a snake, an ox, a bird, a spider, an elephant, and a wolf.

One day, a great being told all the animals that there would be a beautiful banquet at his home, and that they all were invited. But the wolf, who disliked his relative, the dog decided to play a prank on him. He told the dog the banquet would be the day after tomorrow. So the dog went home and stayed asleep all day, as the other animals all went to the great being's house, the wolf in front of the horse, and they all had fun. But the dog had no fun at all. He had been fooled, the poor thing.

Boredom. It covered Otome Sakurada like a cloud that wouldn't go away as she sat on the floor, staring at absolutely nothing outside her opened window. "I shouldn't be this bored at this time of day!" she complained to no one in particular.

Artemis hummed and blinked, noticing a large house. "Hm?" He walked over to this house and looked around. "This place...It seems deserted...Best to find out for sure." He rang the doorbell and waited. "I wonder if...Could someone from my family live here?" He dearly hoped so.

His entire life, Artemis had been alone at the main Sakurada family house. His mother was one of those mothers who rejects her child when it is born and she realizes what it is, his father left them both many months ago and had never returned. The people in the family may have praised anything he did, but even so, he never felt that they did so for love of him as a family member. People in school weren't much different. Girls wanted to cling to him all the time, and he could normally be found on the top of the roof.

Artemis rang the bell once more, holding his suitcase that carried all his belongings...Yes, this boy had run away from home.

Hearing the bell ring, Otome stuck her head out the window and saw a strange man in front of her door. Standing up, she walked downstairs and opened the front door. "Can I help you?" Otome asked politely.

The man stood up straighter than a stiff board. "Umm....I'm Artemis....I think we might be related."

Otome smiled at Artemis' stiffness. "Well, there's only one way to find out, huh?" she said smirking lightly. She gave Artemis a hug and waited to transform. When nothing happened she jumped back and grinned sheepishly. "Had to make sure..." she muttered. She walked back to the door and opened it wider. "Come in."

Artemis nodded and, as he walked in, the sun no longer covered his back and made his features indistinguiahable. Now that he was in the light of the house, it was easier to see his features.

Short, dark brown hair with the same color of eyes. His skin was naturally pale and his lips full and pink. Around his neck was a small pendant in the shape of a wolf's head. His neck and body seemed rather tough, as if he were both an athlete and a wrestler.

Artemis' attire was a little out there as well. He wore a crimson, tight shirt with a large, leather black trench coat. His pants were skintight and he wore leather gloves and lace-up boots. He looked like he was 1/3 gentleman, 1/3 shinobi, and 1/3 soldier. "Thank you....Ummm....What did you say your name was?"

"Otome" she said studying him. She came to the conclusion that they did not look at all related to each other. Otome had blond hair and green eyes and was a little short for her age. "So, why are you here?" she asked curiously. No one from the family ever visited her.

Otome glanced at his suitcase and understood. So he ran away, huh? she thought. "Well, you're welcome to stay here" she said smiling. "But they'll find you sooner or later, you know."
