Regarding reviving old topics.

Please refrain from reviving old topics (last post over 1 month old).
People doing so will receive an infraction.

I don't think that is a good idea because this isn't a game forums. We don't post about games because in games things change. This is an anime/general forums but it would be an good idea "depending" on the topic...

Yes I was the one who received the infraction for "reviving" the topic that discusses about how code grese or however it's spelled is going to be on adult swim. And how lucky star was going to be dubbed. I did post there before and said oh lucky star is being dubbed? But until I got so many reviews on code grese and got feedback on how many people like the anime and from real life friends, I decided to want to watch it but it will be hard to top code grese (77 or so episodes) on top of all the animes that I am watching and planning to watch.

I thought watching it on t.v was going to help make it easyer.

The reason we don't revive old topics is because no one cares about discussing that specific topic anymore.

If somebody was discussing something a few months ago, there's no point in adding more opinions to a thread that probably doesn't need them. That's why reviving old threads shouldn't be done.

Well, I just noticed that "Ariaa" just got a warning or possibily an infraction because she somewhat revived an old topic. I would not have known about that topic if she havn't revived it and I was rather curious when the next avatar would come out as well.

She gave a helpful link to answer those questions and I think that was very nice of her/him and I think that your taking this too seriously...

Ben it's just to make the forum better. If a topic is old it means it doesn't interested anyone anymore, else theyd be posting in it.

Well, sorry to tell you but it interested "Ariaa" and she seemed to have gave the topic some "spice" and gave a good link that could help future people if they wanted to know about avatar.

Future people who want avatar won't search for it in the forum, they would make a new topic instead and that is where she could post this.

a forum isn't an information achieve, it's a place to discuss things and ask questions etc.

Well she/he answered the questions and if you look at the list of people on that avatar thread you will see that most of them are still active so if they revisit the thread again and see the link then that would "help" them as well, would it not?

Look, I'm not trying to start a fight over nothing and this isn't even a fight. I just think that this is taking it a little too far. I'm not saying reviving threads are bad but reviving some threads are good. I think you should just give it a lowered punishment or even warnings can help by pming them.

infraction is a warning o_O it expires... Anyway, I removed the infraction, this rule stays but I won't be so strict about it.

But if I see someone reviving a topic with an 'opinion', that would be an immediate infraction.

Well, please listen to this last post and I thank you for giving me another chance I guess but anyways listen to this...

MisterYoda sent me a warning that I was creating a topic that was already there which was this gaming thing but he was wrong anyways but here it goes...

I made a topic in the games section before the games section was created and that's probably why the games section was created.

Anyways...the the topic was called like "Internet or games you play" and etc so we discuss about the games we play etc...so he gives me a "warning" and pms me saying that there was another thread like this so yeah...anyways...I'm kind of arragant and I won't let anything get pass me so I went though ALL of the forums searching for this "Topic like mine" and I found NONE but listen...

I found a topic that was somewhat like that but it was not internet related it was like just cd roms or like for Psp or for just one certain specific consol and it was on like page two of the threads or like page 3 so basically what MisterYoda told me to do was to go revive that 3 page old thread so basically....

Wouldn't you "two" admins be against each other? I ask that you do not delet this post and let it remain unless you have MisterYoda's consent and sorry me and Yoda are cool now. I didn't mean to bring up any old conflicts up to disgrace you or anything sorry o.o
