Ok, folks..

The next few days you'll be seeing us cease our current update activities.
No, we're not closing down the site, not exactly anyway.

We'll be moving to a new system, which is a bit friendlier to work with. We'll be spending time tweaking it and transferring series from one page to another.

Once we're fully done, said site will become the new home of ZOMGAnime, and we'll then go back to our regular duties of keeping you up to date with the latest episodes of your favorite series.

No, even with the new site, the old one won't be completely abandoned, it'll still exist. You'll still be able to visit it. It just won't be updated.

If, any of you have any questions, feel free to ask.

well... actually, if we want to merge/bridge the forum with the new website taht will be comming we will need to move the forum to the other host o_O. BE AFRAID.

It's fairly simple. You lot want to watch an episode currently on the site, then you'll be able to.

Let's call the current site A. We won't be doing anything with Site A. No updates of airing series, no adding of new series etc.

Now us Mods will be working on site B, to tweak it, and to add those series, which the new DB didn't come with. The new DB we're getting has some of the series we already have, though not as up to date as we have them so that'll need correcting. It also has some series we don't have yet, but were planning on adding anyway, that'll just require some minor tweakage. And then there are the series which we already have, but aren't in the DB and which we'll have to manually transplant. (DB being short for Data Base in this case)

Eventually, when we're done, Site A will become Site B and Site B will become site A. At that point you lot will be able to access everything and you'll also be able to see the episodes you've missed during the switch-over.

Does this clarify things?
