Flaming is NOT Tolerated

For half an year we managed to be a no-drama no-flaming forum.
lately some people are starting to go at each other and i don't like it.

next person that does it gets banned, don't try me. (this includes giving rep with nasty comments, if you do this, you will get banned.)

when you say rep with nasty comments, where do you draw the line at that?
i mean if someones acting like a asshole, can i neg rep and just say "stop being a asshole" or is that to far?

What Naga is trying to say is rather easy:

"Treat others like you want to be treaten yourself"

Ppl can have different opinion but there's no need to blame someone for his/her opinion. And there is no need to attack ppl and start "verbal "wars using this forum. In another thread in this forum area of "Rules and Announcements" i mentioned to use the "Report" button instead. So ppl that still continue such flame wars haven't read the forum guidelines - and thus deserve a permanent ban!

As for the nasty comments in rep system: Is the same. Admins are able to check WHO gave the negative rep WHEN and the comment. So there's no need to make a screenshot. If you get such a comment PM admins.

Yes it is too far. "cut it off" or "knock it off" is a better choice of words as it will show that you're not going down to a level that'll bring you trouble

Personally, i see no point in cyber argument, no winnings, no profits, no clapping, just a complete retard wether you win or lose, my personal moto for these type of things is only do something if you gain something even if its a smile from a disabled women after helping her across the road.

For the record: I wanted to handle the problem myself, and I was satisfied with how it was resolved before Naga stepped in. In his defense, shinzo did step forward when I asked who did that. A proper troll would not have done so. We may not agree with each other, but knowing that we don't agree in the first place can allow me to either simply ignore his posts, or find some common ground with him and move on. That's basically what I set out to accomplish with that thread.

That said, I can understand why Naga is upset over the rep system being abused like this.
