You have a set bandwidth for you photobucket account. Lets say its 5gig.
Just say you have an image that is 1meg in size and you post it here. Everytime someone views the image that 1meg is added to the bandwidth limit. So therefore 10 views is 10meg of your bandwidth limit. Since there is 1000meg in 1gig, your image would have to have been viewed 5000 times and then you have used all your bandwidth for that month with Photobucket. And your bandwith limit gets reset every month so yeah.
Its hard to explain.
But solutions?
Go and find a differant picture hosting site that photobukcet and use it in the mean time till your photobucket bandwidth gets reset. There are literally thousnads of other picture hosting sites out there.
Im tired so i probably didnt explain it properly. Here's a quote from wikipedia.
Quote:
Bandwidth in web hosting
In website hosting, the term "bandwidth" is often used metaphorically, to describe the amount of data that can be transferred to or from the website or server, measured in bytes transferred over a prescribed period of time. This can be more accurately described as "Monthly Data Transfer."
Web hosting companies often quote a monthly bandwidth limit for a website, for example 500 gigabytes per month. If visitors to the website download a total greater than 500 gigabytes in one month, the bandwidth limit will have been exceeded.
When a website grows in popularity or exceeds its bandwidth limits, webmasters may reduce bandwidth usage by employing bandwidth optimization techniques.

yup
this is what photobucket says
Quote:
Bandwidth is used when digital content is viewed from a link you have posted on another website or in an email (e.g. MySpace, eBay, message boards, etc.). Bandwidth is a measure of the number of bytes passed over time via direct linking. It is calculated by adding up the size of each of your images or videos as they are sent from Photobucket. The 'Monthly Bandwidth' number is the amount of bandwidth you have used within the last month. The month is determined by the day of the month you registered your account.
Bandwidth usage is unmetered for Pro accounts, however Photobucket reserves the right to disable direct linking on accounts that are using excessive bandwidth or otherwise abusing the system. The current usage number for Pro accounts is displayed in your Account Options just to give an idea of your current usage level. Free accounts are allowed 25 GB of bandwidth per month. This is hundreds of thousands of images viewed via direct links and resets each month on the day you registered.

& i got 61760 hits this month =o=o

I use Ripway hosting, its not for only sig hosting, but I never run out of bandwidth and it's really no hassle to use it, unless, well you got problem following directions lol j/k
Nah it's pretty easy, just sign up, and you have an account. Then you get your page with all the stuff you have uploaded there. I have stuff ranging all the way back to 2004 and it's still there.

What would be interesting is what size your sig is, lol. It seems you ran out pretty fast of BW.

Oh, so I see thats for the explaination, DAMN!
It's never good when I think of a question, whenever I do another one pops up it never ends!!! With that another question! Why do they limit bandwith?

Now lets use math!
1TB = 1,024 GB = 1,048,576 MB = 1,073,741,824 KB = 1,099,511,627,776 Bytes = 8,796,093,022,208 bits. I pity the fool who thinks a terabyte isn't alot of space, 'cause I highly doubt that they're willing to write atleast 8 trillion one's...
I'm going to be off for a while due to tests. Cya later.
