my computer constantly gets viruses, tojans, spywar, adware and a lot of others

i do not look up anything inappropriate. and i am the only person who uses my computer. my computer is 8 years old and has minimum protection. any1 kno of any good programs i could use to help block it from bad things?

Zone alarm!! tis good download the free version of it ....you can get the full version once u get the right keygen for it, but i shalln't say where or i may get into trouble

i reccomend u reformat your computer and then start fresh with an anti-virus.

8 years old is old now compared to how much computers have evolved.

I recommend buying a new computer, sticking AVG free edition, it is free and has daily updates.

I then downloaded AVG spyware, and the keygen and it keeps the nasty cookies at bay

For the more advanced user i then have Hi-Jackthis and AVG anti root kit

But CCleaner is a must for all, it pwns.

I have that many anti vrius programs, but AVG works best for me.

If upgrading isnt possible, AVG Free Edition will be great.

thats the problem im tight on cash and my parents say "this computer works fine" and then they say "when i was your age...." and crap like that.

To Naga- I already reformated my computer but i messed it up last time and i lost all of my data. i lost 10+amvs i was working on, around 500 hours of anime, and my fan fiction stories i was working on. so i dont want to do that again.

Just keep bugging them, you'll get one eventually.

With the format, you're spose to back up the data you want to keep.
