BTW, for those who dont already know, Both Microsoft and Mozilla are in the process of making new versions of FF and IE.
Firefox 3.0 Beta 4 (which fixes memory issues and is a bit speedier and safe) can be found here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html
Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 (i dont know whats new to this version, sorry) can be found here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...8/default.mspx
I am running FF 3.0b4 and it runs like a dream, it also uses less memory then FF 2
Remember these are beta software, so there are still bugs

I havent read the thread at all becasue im lazy but i say neither.
Opera FTW.
Lately it sure is a viable option.
Supports 98% of pages.
Built in torrent client
Built in IRC client
And many more features
But the only bad thing i see not enough third party support as of yet.

I like Opera as a secondary browser when FF doesnt work. also the torrent client is shit... uTorrent owns, but its very fast and works very well, just not as customizable and not as open and friendly with video and pictures as FF is.

I must support Firefox. I truly enjoy the fact that it is much more customizable. there are many add-ons as well as themes. Also I just like it better.

Months ago IE was my favorite. I thought the speed was exactly the same so i saw no reason to replace it with firefox. Well my opinion about Firefox has changed big time since im using it, so no more IE for me ^^

Firefox is no more safer than IE. Stop spreading the rumor. If people are stupid enough to go to unsafe websites, they're stupid enough to download the stuff.
IE takes up far less memory. This is the deciding factor for my vote.
I multi task, a lot. So the less memory each program is using, the better.
Though, I honestly like using Firefox more.

I always liked IE better, but I have to say the FF3 Beta 5 is great. I still have FF 1&2 though.
