Fire fox or internet explorer?
People on another thread said that firefox is better then internet explorer so lets see this.
Please vote for internet explorer OR firefox and say the reason why you choose it. I can't just go downloading things with out some facts. Is it really true that internet explorer is basically opened to virases and firefox is more protective against them? I need help finding the answers to these questions o.o

firefox: supports 98% of websites, allows any 3rd party addon compatible with browser version, open source, allows themes, gives user more control over browsing experience than other browsers, fastest for loading flash video and pictures, uses java scripting.
internet explorer: supports 98% of websites, uses active X (which is known for allowing websites to take control of your web browser and installing spyware, and has a shit load of backdoor access), faster then FF on mosts sites, allows 3rd party addons (though there are very few), not open source (meaning less addons), 2nd longest for loading video and pictures (after opera)
Firefox is just more open, easy to use and navigate with, and works better overall then IE.

Internet Explorer (IE) is the default Internet browser, you have it included with your Windows.

Now lets use math!
1TB = 1,024 GB = 1,048,576 MB = 1,073,741,824 KB = 1,099,511,627,776 Bytes = 8,796,093,022,208 bits. I pity the fool who thinks a terabyte isn't alot of space, 'cause I highly doubt that they're willing to write atleast 8 trillion one's...
I'm going to be off for a while due to tests. Cya later.

Firefox ftw
Yakbabbler pretty much nailed it.
But, you can download the FasterFox plugin from Mozilla and it speeds up your browser. In my experiences, it's faster than IE

... Opera, in my opinion. But (personally) only on desktop computers. On my laptop it's gotta be firefox.
Oh, I find firefox much more user-friendly than IE.

I was using opera myself for a while, but i find that everything you can get on opera is now available for FF, plus it handles video and pictures better.

I use IE over firefox because it can't run .exe files and has extreme technical issues. More viruses can pass over firefox (I used it when I got the blue screen DX) and it honestly can't load any faster than IE. I have tried many times and they are basically the exact same speed. Plus, firefox has a funky font load that doesn't display all web pages correctly or changes the font of the page.
