How do you turn off automatic updates on Photoshop CS3?

i don't have cs3 i have cs2

I dont hav photoshop CS3 but im betting it might be FILE>Preferences>General. Might find a tickbox in there somewhere

Do you have to pay for this photoshop? I heard you have to pay like 800 a year or a month XD

You don't need to turn it off, even if you have a hack version. They can't do anything just because you're download updates.

But if you still want to delete it, go to this directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
And delete the folder called Updater5.

**I haven't done that myself though, so I'm not sure if it will affect anything else or not. However I looked through the folder and I only saw files related to updating.

Yeah I just downloaded another crack version onto my comp (had to reimage it recently), and it works fine, I was just wondering. Oh @Ichinaru, you mean like what you are charged to by it (its expensive). One word to solve the cost issue: Torrents

i kept the updates, instead of just getting the PS get the suite
