Both have their pros and cons but I would choose PC because of its high compatibility with other computers and software. Plus when something goes wrong on a PC I know where to look, on a Mac I have no idea...
But it is nice that on Macs they come with full software instead of trial versions, I don't like the Apple mice though...
I do work with both though and I'm quite impressed with the hardware that apple puts into their Macbooks, the PCMCIA (wireless card) is awesome, it can get wireless a lot farther than most comps I have experience with.

I use both too, and I agree. I like that I can constantly upgrade a Windows Desktop, and most hardware and software is made to run on Windows. It can be argued that there is more Mac compatibility nowadays, and where it is lacking, users can run Boot Camp or a virtual machine with Windows to solve the hardware and software compatibility problems. Macs certainly do look nice to me. Still, I feel like I get more for less money running a Windows machine.
guys. my pc wont turn on now. im using my ps3 to go online. it just shuts down
Shuts down right when you start it? Well to add to Ya-chan's bit have you been downloading anything lately? If it's like a virus or something you would have to look it up on viruslist.com or something to find how to get rid of it. I know I won't have that problem because I can re-image my comp whenever I want. But first check if its a hardware problem. I find it strange that you can start it but then it shuts down. How far do you get booting the comp up until it shuts down? I'm sure if you have had that problem others may have had it as well and posted it on the web.

i must say it´s a little bit harder to find some stuff for the mac, but if u ever tried some audio programms on a PC u will see why the whole "media" productions(Audio, Film and Web) use Mac XD
But for Gaming i choose my PC^^
