The best computer is the one you make on your own. If you're intuitive with computer assembly, I highly suggest you make one from scratch. Alternatively, have somebody make you a custom-built one. Premade desktops are kind of shitty, but they're fine if you're just a casual user.

Newegg.com is always good and cheap, or if there's a Fry's Electronics near you they usually have everything you'd be looking for.

Personally I just go to TigerDirect. They have the parts and assemble it for you.

Go to newegg.com I built a computer that totaled to $3,050 which was about the equivalence to a $10,000 Dell computer. I can email you the one I built if your interested in looking at the parts I chose.

Hm.. Buy:
MotherBoard: Abit IX38-QUAD GT,
CPU: Intel Core2Duo e8400 ( rated at 3,0GHz x2 )
RAM: OCZ 2x 2GB rated 800MHz
HDD: You`r choice, but it would be better if you use SATA.
GPU: Radeon HD4870 x2 ( crossfire )
Power Supplier: Enermax Modu82+ EMD625AWT
COOLER: You`r choice, I reccomend you : Thermalright Ultima+ Fander FX-120B.
It`s the best possible PC you can buy atm. The price won`t surpass 2,5k$.

No, it doesn`t, but the MOBO can burn with the other components too. So it would be better, if you had an extra cooling device.

Honestly, I think my build far surpasses that.
And naga, heat won't make it slow, just prone to heat damage if it gets too high.

Man, believe me, the CPU can be overclocked in the shop, and you`ll have 3,5GHz x2. And with this conf, you would have two graphic cards. The one I gave, is currently the best ou there, it`s out since a few days now.
RAM? You don`t need more. 4gb is enough for EVERYTHING.

Hmm, i remember reading somewhere that if your fan isn't working properly and your computer heats up too much, it will work slower as to decrease the workload and therefore decrease the heat.
im not looking for something that price 2.5k is loads O_O, also i live in israel i doubt they mail parts here.

Ah. Tell me, how much you would like to spend on the PC. In $ or €.
I`ll just make an appropriate configuration for you .
*BTW: you should just go to the PC store`s, and look for the cheapest one :p.
