USB help...
My keyboard stopped working yesterday and I read up in Hardware that the USB drives failed. What can I do?

Try getting USB drivers......if those even exist their usb for a reason lol. If that doesnt work you may need to buy a new USB port for your computer, they aren't very expensive.

it can be as simple as a corrupted driver, missing file, etc. if the actual port on the motherboard is broken though just get a pci card with usb ports on them. usually pretty cheap

easiest way to fix this: restart your computer in safe mode.
Happens to me all the time, and if ur not sure how to restart in safe mode look it up cuz its usually a little different for some comps, plus i forget lol

This used to happen to me all the time.
I think it was AnimaRO that was causing mine ... Anyway, you can try changing the socket that the keyboard is in. That normally worked.

Tried changing the socket many times, never worked. I know what safe mode is, I mean come on.. I'm learning C++. But I don't know where to find the driver to my USB keyboard, so where would that be located?

usually when you restart in safe mode it automatically will ask if you want to install drivers for the hardware. A lot of times my old comp wouldnt register a keyboard so i would restart in safe mode and when it logged on it would bring up the Foun New Device:USB Keyboard and ask if i wanted to install the drivers
