I have been trying to advertise the zomganime by posting in other games, forums, etc... with a zomg sig. On Gaia I have been as they say "gang banged" by a bunch of goodie two shoes. Watch out, some of them may be angry enough to come on the forums and spam or something. I didn't make them do it or anything like that. I didn't fight with them but simply protect the online anime.

This is what they were saying

Well, not everyone gives a care about Naruto or Bleach recently came out episodes.
Besides, some people cant afford to buy.

Just because you can't afford to buy the stuff you desire doesn't mean you have an excuse to just steal the stuff.

that doesn't mean you can ignore LEGAL cheap and free sources. ask about InterLibrary Loans at your public library, that's where they borrow something from another library so you can check it out. because it comes from another library what your library has doesn't matter. my public library contains little more anime than some Ghibli films and a couple Starblazers DVDs, but I can get my hands on a whole bunch of anime (and manga) if I use InterLibrary Loans.

That site is distributing anime illegally. Therefore, it shouldn't even be discussed here.

Well, just to tell you that still is breaking the rules on the ToS. Your siggy would have gotten you in trouble before you even thought of making this thread. Most of the users here, do buy, borrow from the library, or rent the DVDs of series. I mostly buy the DVDs, and watch the series on TV. It is called supporting industry, dear.

You do know Youtube is taking off anime series off of their site.

do you realize sites like that are why anime sales are down to under 50% of what they were in 2005 and dropping even tho the fandom is larger than ever before? illegal anime sources are causing sales to plummet so low even the Japanese anime studios are having to cut their budgets because of it. sites like that put the whole anime industry at risk. if you want to support the industry and keep it alive so you'll have more quality anime in the future you shouldn't be for sites like that, you should be against them. a real anime fan isn't a parasite to the industry, they support it by using legit sources.

Were you hit on your head when you were a kid? It's not people being a "goody two shoes", it's people looking to respect rules on this site. Do people here who blasting you for posting links, which is one of the rules pointed out that you shouldn't in the DAMN STICKIES, use torrents? Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. But they have the common sense not to post links here, unlike individuals like yourself.

Oh and a huge xd at suggesting Youtube. Only stupid Naruto fanbrats use Youtube...since they do not know how to use a torrent, much less know what a torrent is.

why not use LEGAL means to check? watch a sample ep offered by the company, find a legal stream site like on ToonamiJetstream.com or The Anime Network's website. use your public library (InterLibrary Loans don't even count on what your library phisically has)... there's lots of legal choices besides illegal ones.

But that's what you were implying. There are ways to watch anime without resorting to downloading and DVD isn't the only option.

Heke? Who's ignoring legal stuff? You can also buy magazines such as NewType and OtakuUSA. That's what I do, and they usually come with DVDs with episodes and trailers. My library already worked hard to get manga, so DVDs should be out of the question.

Seriously though, it's illegal, yeah, but hell, I've got no problem with that, and with you subbing it yourselves now, I really don't see a problem. Personally I doubt the majority of the people on gaia could string a decent sentence together, that hasn't been rehashed over and over again, anyway, nevermind employ some critical thinking in this kind of thing.
