Girls, you know a guy loves you when:

He opens the door for everyvody, but he waits just for you.

You ruin dinner, but he tells you you're the best thing that ever happened to him.

You come home from work, extremely late, to find him sleeping at the dinner table, candles set up and lit.

You come home from work to find he's taken out the trash, washed the dishes, cleaned the house, and put the kids to bed...then offers to do it again.

He argues with you over the smallest things, then tells you're friends it was his fault.

He gets a tattoo of a heart with your name on a ribbon above the heart, across his chest.

He tells you that you're the second most beautiful woman in the world...the first, being his mother.

He gets you a gift when it's not even your birthday, or a special holiday, or your anniversary.

He takes you out to a fancy restaurant, then says "Careful, dear. Your weenus is showing."

He calls your mother "Mom", instead of her first name.

He refers to your dad as "My old man" instead of his first name.

He gets the band at the club to play your favorite song, then proposes to you at the chorus line.

He takes you to a play that you requested you two go to, then talks with you about it afterward.

You have sex with him during your honeymoon, and he never asks you for it again, but always accepts if you ask him.

He tells you that if you mess up dinner again, he knows how to use a grill.

He helps your dad cook at your pool party when you two are in high school, and tells your dad how much he wants to marry you.

He tells your mom she's the third most beautiful woman in the world. The second being you, the first being his real mom.

He gives up a job as a teacher, becomes a garbage man, and finds a diamond ring that he just scrubs up all clean and shiny, just so he can propose.

He holds you in his arms just because he likes the feel of your touch.

You're the first thing he sees when he wakes up, and the only thing on his mind all day.

He complains that his friends don't like you, then says he'd rather die then let go of the woman of his dreams.

Even after you tell him you don't want to go out with him anymore, he hangs around you and gives you gifts. When you ask him why he won't go away, he tells you that he just wants to be as close to you as possible, even if he can't hold you or kiss you or tell you how much he loves you.

I realize some guys use these as guidelines to follow when attempting to have sex with a girl. But I'd rather just assume that's not the case, or that they just do it for some other reason.

lol have you read any of the posts in which we guys put on this forum? we got someone chewing someones brain not to mention how avan said they were mainly pick up guidelines...obviously he used them himself if he mentioned that

Actually, no, I haven't. If I want a girlfriend, I do it the old fashioned way; build a relationship from scratch and take my time getting to know her.

And yes, Stantonic, there are guys like that. Ya just gotta look really hard to find them.
