Fair play, but having seen the sub first, I couldnt stand the voice acting in the dub. In the original Ed and AL (and everyone elses) voices were so expressionate and convincing. In the sub they were so hammy and lifeless, I think tht makes the impact of the series less effective

No, you know what that is not xP. I'll list some reasons why I like subs better. Although alot of subs are plain crap, fortunately this site has really good subs. Even if a little, knowing Japanese really annoys the crap out of you if the subs are bad for example; the character would say " Doka shimashta, Yui-chan?" and the subs would say " What's up Yui? " when the correct translation is " What's wrong / Is there something wrong Yui-chan?"
Dubs mostly use really bad translators and often translate very badly. I would much rather have every-day people who actually speak or are good at subbing Japanese rather than machines. The reason i also hate dubs is as was mentioned before THEY MAKE YOU WANT TO PUNCH THE TV/COMPUTER. When Naruto says " BELIEVE IT!" every sentence in the english version, it pisses you the hell off, as compared to him saying Dattebayo every few sentences or when hes mad.
Also the voices are very crappy and usually sound computerized.
Everything here is in general, a few animes might not fit the "dubbed" part of this rant but there are very few... like death note, and Rockman.

please.. no english dubs... I'd most definitely prefer the sub counterpart of an anime series, since...
Most english dubs of an anime series use poor/horrible quality voice actors, and the translation of the anime is usually wrong/misleading, and is most possibly worse than it's sub counterpart...
Naruto could be a famous example... saying BELIEVE IT at the end of a speech instead of somthing like.. i dunno... dattebayo?
It's actually more a matter of opinion, I like some dubs. I know people who prefer dubs over subs. I personally prefer subs, but I don't mind most dubs. (Not including Naruto, I hate that one. <.<) But if you want dubs there are a few sites dedicated solely to dubs so it would be easyer to go to one of them.

Dubs are only good for making amvs in my opinion and you don't even have to use dubs for this could just use the raw(s).
Totally agree. Dubs are only fit for mockery lol. Years bck a friend had a copy of a crappy OVA called "violence jack", I gotta say that was probably the funniest dub ive ever seen, its worth trackin down just to see how bad it was. Id love to edit that into an amv with a few cheesey lines left in. SUBS NOT DUBS!!! lol

i think website should have an english version because i would love to watch anime if i could understand whats its saying so pleaes make a english version to some anime series
Not to be judgmental, but in order for English dubs to be beneficial, you'd probably have to be able to speak English.
